Night setback
To save energy simply lower the room temperature at
night or at times when nobody is at home.
Cleaning
The thermostat can be cleaned with mild detergents
such as washing-up liquid. Do not use scourers, alco-
hol, solvents or bleaching agents, because they can
damage the radiator thermostat.
Setting the upper and lower limit:
The thermostat features two tabs with which the
temperature setting area can be decreased.
If 4 should be max. setting, turn thermostat to max.
position (A) and press and hold right tab while turn-
ing thermostat to 4 (B). Now release tab.
With the left tab the lower temperature area is de-
creased. In order to press the tab thermostat must be
turned to min. position.
Frost protection
If you are leaving your home for a long period of time,
you can safely turn the thermostat to . At this set-
ting the thermostat will keep the room temperature
at about 7-8 °C.
Please do not cover the thermostat!
The thermostat must be able to register the tempera-
ture of the room. If it is covered by e.g. thick curtains
or furniture, use a thermostat with remote sensor.
Free heat saves energy
Sunlight, kitchen appliances and electric light give off
free heat. The thermostat registers such free heat by
automatically closing down. When there no longer is
enough free heat available, the thermostat automati-
cally opens again and the radiator will warm up.
