In order to protect againstrisk of electric shock, the installation should be p roperly grounded. Defeating the purpose of the grounding
type plug will expose you to the risk of electric shock.
Power system :
It is recommended to use a TN-S power distribution system (a power distribution system with a separate neutral and grounding
conductor) in order to avoid large groun d current loops du e to voltage differences in the n eutral c onductor. The total electrical
installation should be protectedbyanappropriatelyrateddisconnectswitch, circuitbreakers, over voltage protector and G round Fault
Current Interrupters. The installation shall be done according to the local electrical installation codes. In Europe special attention
should be g iven to EN 60364, the standard for electrical installation of buildings. In G erma ny VDE 0100 should be adhered to. In
America, special attention should be given to the National Electrical Code, ANS I/NFPA 70.
