Adding Water to Pen
1. Unscrew tip of pen
clockwise.
2. Use a small measuring cup
(not included) to add water
to pen. To avoid leakage, do
not overfill.
3. Screw pen tip back on
counter clockwise.

BEFORE YOU PLAY
1. With a dry cloth, wipe the mat of any debris.
2. Place the mat on a flat surface.
3. Note: For best results, avoid play areas with high humidity
and ensure mat surface is not overly moist. Since the
technology is moisture-sensitive, these factors can affect
performance.

1. Use a Phillips screwdriver
to unscrew and remove the
battery door.
2. Install three AA 1.5 Volt
alkaline batteries
(not
included) in the battery
compartment. Be careful
to align the positive (+)
and negative (-) polarities
with the corresponding
markings inside the battery
compartment.
3. Reinstall the battery door
and tighten the screw.
IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION
• Battery installation should be performed by an adult.
• Use only batteries recommended on the package and
in the instruction manual.
• Be careful to install the batteries with the correct
polarity, as indicated.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable, or
different types of batteries.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy
before being charged (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under
adult supervision (if removable).
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as
recommended are to be used.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy,
as they will adversely affect the performance.

PLAYING INSTRUCTIONS
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Using the water pen, draw and doodle on the
mat. For best results, make sure the lines are
clear and solid.
2. Enjoy the music and sounds when your
drawing applies pressure to sensors within
the mat surface.

1. To avoid mold and/or damage to
product performance, completely
dry mat after use. Store mat and
accessories in a dry area.
2. Mat is surface washable only.
If cleaning is required, the mat
should only be washed with water
and gently dabbed with a sponge.
