requiringanyactiononyourpart;youmightnotevenseeanyactivation-relatedmessagesonthe
device’sOLEDdisplay.
Ifyouraccountdidnotactivateforsomereason(youarenotinanareawithSprint3GorLTE
networkcoverage,youareinanareawhereyoucan’tgetsignalsuchasabuildingortunnel,etc.),a
messagewillappearontheOLEDdisplaytellingyoutogotohttp://sprintmodem/toactivatethe
account.
YoumustactivateyouraccountbeforeyoucanuseSprintdataservices.
PlugintheModemtoAutomaticallyActivateYourAccount
1. InserttheUSBmodemintoanavailableUSB2.0orUSB3.0slot.Thedevicestartsupand,ifa
Sprint3GorLTEnetworksignalisavailable,itwillautomaticallytrytoactivateyouraccount(a
messagewillappearindicatinghandsfreeactivationisinprogress).
2. Iftheactivationsucceeds,theOLEDdisplayshowsthehomescreen.Iftheactivationfails,you
cantrytoactivatetheaccountfromtheNETGEAR341UManager,orrepeatthisprocedure
whenyouareinaSprintcoveragearea.
ActivateYourAccountFromtheNETGEAR341UManager
IfyouraccountwasnotactivatedautomaticallywhenyouinsertedtheUSBmodem,youcannotuse
Sprintdataservices.
YoucanattempttoactivatetheaccountfromtheNETGEAR341UManager:
1. Logintothehomepage.(SeeLoggingInasanAdministrator.)IfaSprint3GorLTEnetwork
signalisavailable,handsfreeactivationbeginsautomatically.
2. ReadtheEndUserLicenseAgreementthatappearsand,whenyouareready,clickIAgree to
