SINGLE-CHANNEL RADIO CONTROL MINI
SAFETY REGULATIONS
Before using the radio control read the entire in-
struction handbook carefully.
Use the radio control only at a distance that ena-
bles visual control throughout the automated
system movement.
In case of not working equipment contact only and
EXCLUSIVELY qualified GENIUS staff or GENIUS
service centers.
GENIUS is not responsible for problems arising from
improper use of the radio control.
The radio control may be used only together with
an EASYWAVE receiver.
DO NOT ALTER IN ANY WAY THE CONTROL DEVICE.

3. OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The mini radio control is a single-channel radio device for
controlling the movement of internal or external blinds
or roller shutters.
With reference to figure 1, the table which follows descri-
bes the radio control lay-out:

With only one radio control one or multiple operators can
be controlled.

4. START-UP
Fix the wall bracket (Fig. 1 ref. e) using the accessories
provided.
The wall bracket must be installed out of the reach
of children.
The radio control is supplied with an internal battery
already installed and may be used immediately.
Transfer the radio control code to the receiver coupled
with the motor to be controlled. To perform this proce-
dure correctly, in the case of an external receiver, refer
to the receiver instructions. For operators with an inte-
grated receiver the procedure of transferring the radio
control code is described in the operator instructions.
5. USE OF THE RADIO CONTROL
The four buttons on the radio control allow opening, but-
ton a, closing, button b, or stopping the motor, buttons
c.
To open or close the blinds/roller shutters press the appro-
priate button lightly, there is no need to hold the button
down. Every time one of the buttons is pressed the led on
the radio control comes on (Fig. 1 ref. d).
The following table shows the button function during in-
dividual phases.

6. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
To replace the radio control battery, follow the steps
below:
Insert a coin in the slot present at the top of the radio
control and turn it until the two shells open.
Remove the old battery in the direction of the ar-
row.
Insert the new battery, matching the poles as indica-
ted in Figure 2, and close the radio control.
Insert the battery matching the poles as indicated
in Fig. 2, if the battery is inserted the wrong way
round, the radio control will not work.
Use only and exclusively batteries with the cha-
racteristics shown in the Table in paragraph 2.
Dead batteries should be handed back to the seller
or thrown into appropriate refuse containers.
Please dispose of dead batteries carefully.
