Retrofit Aluminum MBRT6 & MBRT10 Clamp Bar
with Cambered Clamp Bar
1. In order to retrot a cambered clamp
bar, you need two locator blocks stacked
on top of each other. Check locator block
at each end of the tool. If you already have
two locator blocks – total height will be
approximately 3/4” (19 mm) – stacked at
each location, you do not need to continue.
Tools shipped prior to 2010 have only one
locator block.
2. Loosen and remove locator block screws
with the included 5/32” allen wrench.
Discard screws.
3. Place new locator block on top of
existing locator block. Total height will
be approximately 3/4” (19 mm). Align
screw holes.
4. Apply loctite (included) to new locator
block screws (included).
5. Place Screws into locator block. Use
allen wrench to tighten screws.
6. Repeat for other end of the tool.
