WHAT TO DO WHEN SERVICE IS NEEDED
2
Thank you for purchasing the Altura Photo Close-Up Macro Lens Set. This lens set is perfect for close
up photography because it allows you to hold your camera's lens closer to the subject than ever before.
In order to get the best results when using your lenses, please read this manual first.
Introduction
3
This lens set is available in sizes from 37mm-82mm. The size of your lenses is listed on the item's
packaging and also on the lenses themselves.
Note
The following parts are included with your set:
FOUR CLOSE UP LENSES
Your Close-Up Macro Lens Set includes +1, +2, +4 and +10 close up lenses. These lenses can be used
individually or in combination to achieve the effect of your choosing.
WALLET CARRYING CASE
You can safely store your lenses in the included wallet style carrying case. This case protects your
lenses from scratches and its velcro seal makes it easy to carry around for maximum portability.
Included WithYour Lens Set

In order to best use your lenses, please follow the steps below:
1. Depending on how much magnification is required, choose which lens you should connect to your
current lens. Included with this set are +1, +2, +4, and +10 lenses. The +1 lens offers a moderate amount
of magnification, while the +10 lens offers more substantial magnification. Your lenses each have front
and rear lens threading so that they can be attached to each other or to your camera. To gain even
more magnification, you can attach multiple lenses. For example, if a +1 and +2 lens are attached
together, they will provide +3 magnification. A +4 and +10 lens will provide +14 magnification.
2. Once you choose which of the included lenses you want to use, you can attach the lens of your
choice to your camera. Your lenses all have a lens threading which should allow them to screw directly
onto your camera's lens. On the packaging of your lens set, the diameter of your lenses (in mm) is listed.
Make sure that this diameter matches the diameter of your camera's lens, or additional adapters may
be required to connect your lenses to your camera.
3. Once your lenses are attached to your camera, you will see how they allow you to zoom closer to the
subject you are photographing, achieving a larger image scale.
Using Your Close Up Macro Lenses
5
-Make sure that your camera is in manual focus mode when using these lenses.
-The depth of field will become narrower at higher magnifications. Set your aperture accordingly and try
to provide as much lighting as possible. A ring flash or an external flash that has a slave mode may be
useful. Use caution when using your camera's on board flash because it will likely produce a shadow
from your camera's lens.
