Regarding the Shape of the Batter Board Cushion

The shape of the included batter board cushion diers depending on its production date (the two types are shown below).

Note the cross-section of the batter board cushion before installing it.

Attaching the Batter Board Stoppers (Included Items)

When you have nished attaching the KD-A22 to the bass drum, attach the included batter board stopper (4 pcs.) to the

batter hoop at the positions shown in the illustration.

When attaching the stoppers, take care not to hurt your hand on the lugs.

Pull in the

direction of the

arrow.

* Attach in close contact with

the nearest lug.

5 If you have diculty pushing the batter board stoppers onto the batter hoop, lay the bass drum horizontally and push the

stoppers downward to attach them.

5 Push down on the batter board stoppers in a location where your hand will not strike the lug; then move it into close

contact with the nearest lug.
