1.Introduction
The PIR230 series module includes a 1channel passive infrared (PIR) sensor that is able to
detectinfraredwavesgeneratedbyhumanwithinarangeofapproximately8metersindiameter
with a 360° coverage area. The PIR230 series is used for indoor motion detection, and can be
configuredtoautomaticallyswitchonalightifmotionisdetected.
1channeltemperaturesensorisprovidedformeasuringroomtemperature,itcanalsobeused
asaheatdetectortoactivatethefirealarmsystem.
