Tighten
ASSEMBLY:
A. Thread one end of strap: (1) around center post of
buckle,
(2) through triangle ring, then (3) back around center
post
of buckle on top of strap. (See Figure 1)
B. THREAD other end of strap through the two remaining
triangle rings. (See Figure 2)
USE:
1. With hook FACING awning, drive stake securely into
ground several feet beyond end of awning. Slide triangle
around hook. (See Figure 1)
2. Position free strap flat over awning.
3. Drive remaining stake securely into ground several feet
from opposite end of awning with hook FACING awning.
4. Attach opposite end of strap to stake with spring.
(See Figure 2) Pull tight.
5. Excess strap may be cut off. Sear end with a flame
to prevent raveling.
NOTE: The Camco RV Awning Hold Down Strap is
adjustable at both ends; however, the spring
end provides the most convenient adjustment.
CAUTION: This product was not intended for storm
wind conditions. For these conditions, store awning.
