Asante TapTap is a device that will allow you to create a musical light show with your smart phone or tablet. It can be used with most 110V Christmas light strings with a standard AC plug, as long as they do not have an existing controller.

TapTap is designed to provide you with an easy way to create a unique musical
light show with your smart phone or tablet. It can be used both indoors and
outdoors.
TapTap is compatible with most 110V Christmas light strings with standard
AC plug. Please notice that the light strings cannot have an existing controller.

Installation of Your TapTap
Attach the two screws to the wall.
Mount your TapTap on the screws through
the two mounting holes on the back of
TapTap
Press the pole into the ground.
Assemble the stand to the pole using the screws
and metal gasket.
Place the TapTap device on the stand, then fix the
screws on the left and right.

Setup 1: Power on TapTap
Connect the power cable to the TapTap device.
Plug your light strings into the six outlets on the TapTap (Max 110W per
outlet). Each outlet controls a single light string that will flash along with
the music.
Press the power button. The WiFi signal LED lights and cloud service light
will start to blink. The blinking lights will speed up shortly after.
Wait for couple seconds until the WiFi signal LED lights will be flashing left
and right (1 -> 5 -> 1...). This indicates that TapTap is boot completely.

Setup 2: Get the Application
Launch the app and create a new account, then start setting up your
TapTap.
* The TapTap app supports smartphone and tables.

Setup 3: Connect TapTap to WiFi Router
When logging in the first time, click “setup
now” button on the screen of the TapTap app.
Leave the TapTap app, and go to the wifi
settings of your mobile device. Then connect to
the WiFi network starting with “Taptap_AP_”.
Return to the TapTap app, then select your
local network and enter your WiFi password.
The WiFi signal strength lights on the TapTap
device will start to blink, indicating that WiFi is
pairing with your TapTap. If TapTap has been
successfully connected to your WiFi, the
indicators stay constantly lit and the cloud
service light will light up.

Setup 4: First Musical Light Show
Just click the menu button “ ” on the top
left side of the main screen of the TapTap app,
and select “player setup”
Choose your TapTap.
Click the play button“ ” to start the musical
light show.
