Gasmate 3020BPL is a portable gas heater designed for outdoor use. It features a new burner design that radiates heat more efficiently and a polished alloy reflector and safety guard. The heater screws directly onto a 3/8” BSP LH camping cylinder and uses propane gas.

Due to its portable nature, it is perfect for providing warmth while camping, fishing, or enjoying other outdoor activities. Moreover, it is easy to use. To light the heater, simply open the cylinder control valve approximately half a turn and light the gas at the burner either with a lighted match or by pressing the piezo ignitor. The flame can be regulated to the desired heat level by opening or closing the valve.

cylindervalve.Removetheappliancetoa

Thisapplianceshallonlybeusedinanabove
groundopen-airsituationwithnaturalventilation,
withoutstagnantareas,wheregasleakageand
productsofcombustionarerapidlydispersedby
windandnaturalconvection.
Any enclosure in which the appliance is used
shall comply with the following:
Anenclosurewithwallsonallsides,butatleast
onepermanentopeningatgroundlevelandno
overheadcover(seeExample1).
Withinapartialenclosurethatincludesan
overheadcoverandnomorethantwowalls
(seeExample2&3).
Within a partial enclosure that includes an
overhead cover and more than two walls, the
following will apply:
atleast25%ofthetotalwallareaiscompletely
open,andatleast30%oftheremainingwallarea
isopenandunrestricted(seeExample4&5).
In the case of balconies, at least 20% of the
total wall area shall be and remain open and
unrestricted.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Removeappliancefromcartonandremove
anytransitprotectionmaterial.
a. Theapplianceareamustbekeptclearand
freeofcombustiblematerials,gasolineand
otherflammablevapoursandliquids.
b. Gasorificesandburnermustbekept
clearofdirtandcobwebs.Flowof
combustionandventilationairthroughthe
perforatedportionsoftheappliancemust
notbeobstructed.
c.Anycleaningagentusedontheappliance
shouldbeofanon-combustibleand
non-corrosivenature.
2. Properclearancefromcombustiblematerials
mustbemaintainedatalltimes.Theminimum
clearancesareasfollows:

berequiredforglass,paintedsurfacesandother
materialswhichmaybedamagedbyradiantor

3. Attachtheappliancetothespecifiedcylinder
andensurethatcontrolvalveisfullyclosed
andthesealinggasketisfirmlysealedagainst
neckofconnector.
4. Theapplianceshouldonlybeoperatedonlyon
alevelandstablesurface.
LIGHTING AND REGULATING
Openthecylindercontrolvalveapproximately
halfaturnandlightgasatburnereitherwith
alightedmatchorpressingthepiezoignitor.
Regulatetheflametotheheatdesiredby
openingorclosingthevalve.Avoidexcessflame
fromthegauze.
REPLACING JETS
Ifthejetshouldbecomeblockedorneed
replacement,unscrewtheadaptorandremove
jet.Toclearblockedjetswashinpetrol.Donot
usewiresorprickers.Ifwashingisunsuccessful,
fitnewjet.
ANNUAL MAINTENANCE
Cleanthebodyofyourapplianceusingacotton
clothsoakedinsoapyhotwater.Neveruse
abrasiveorflammablecleaningproducts.Usea
softbrushtocleantheburner.
STORAGE
Whentheapplianceisnotuseditmustbe
storedinasuitableareatoprotectitfromany
riskofdeterioration.Keepitinawellventilated
areaandoutofreachofchildren.
HANDY HINTS
a.Inspectthe“O”Ringandrubberwasher
regularlyandreplaceifwornordamaged.
b. Neverconnectordisconnecttheappliance
nearanopenflame.
c. CheckforgasleakswithSOAPYWATER.
DO NOT USE A FLAME.
d. Ensuretheapplianceiscompletely
extinguishedbeforedisconnectingfromthe
cylinder.
e. DONOTplacetheappliancecloserthan60cm
fromceilingorflammablematerial.
f. Whenliftingappliancealwaysusethehandle
onthegascylinder,NEVERUSETHEHEATER.
