The MT1000A Network Master Pro is composed of the MT1000A
Controller Mainframe and MU100010A Test Interface Module
supporting all transport test interfaces except the optical transceiver

2. Protocol Options (Requires One at Minimum)
The software protocol options enable the transport technology supporting each data rate. At least one of the following options is required.
The MU100010A-001 option supports Ethernet, OTN, SDH/SONET and PDH/DSn up to 2.7 Gbps. No additional hardware is required to
support any option.

1: The channel is not limited by the position of the physical port. The user can freely select the port to be assigned from two physical ports using software.
For Dual Channel, the two different physical ports can operate simultaneously in one unit.

2: When using the OTN function, the channel can be used as a client signal mapped to OTN. For example, the MU100010A-051/052 (for Physical port) and the
MU100010A-081/082 (for client signal) are required when mapping STM-64/OC-192 to OTU2 (Figure 1).

3: ODU Multiplex connections are supported by the ODU Multiplexing option, offering users flexible network configuration. This option (green line in Figure 1)
supports both single and dual channels.

4: The ODU Flex option supports client signals of any speed with a Mapping function based on the ODU Flex Standard used for transmission over OTN networks.
This option (purple line in Figure 1) supports both single and dual channels. (at rates above 4G requires dual channel option)

This is the base configuration for users requiring all interfaces up to 2.7 Gbps and 10 GigE single channel.
Note: This configuration supports single-channel 10 GigE operation on either physical port while testing separately at up to 2.7 Gbps on the other port simultaneously.

Install an optical transceiver supporting the relevant standard into the SFP/SFP+ slot when testing optical interfaces using the MT1000A.
