C - HOW TO OPERATE YOUR CLEANER
C-1 Pull out the mains lead and put the plug into the socket
outlet.
C-2 Gently press the center of the switch pedal to turn ON
the appliance. Press the pedal again to turn it OFF.
C-3 Power control
The suction power can be adjusted depending on the
type of ooring.
The symbols on the controls indicate the type of use the
settings are suitable for.
:Curtains, Lightweight fabrics
:Upholstery, Cushions
:Parquet ooling
:Shallow-pile carpet
:Deep-pile carpet
Turn the rotary selector to the desired suction power
setting.
C-4 Switching between carpet and ooring
Flooring: Press lever A
Carpet: Press lever B
C-5 The curved wand of the hose is attached with a manual
suction regulator, which allows you to reduce the suction
level easily.
C-6 The dusting brush can be set between the telescopic
wand and the oor nozzle if you want. Remove the oor
nozzle by pressing the release pedal and you can use
the dusting brush easily anytime.
C-7 After you nish vacuuming, remove the plug from the
socket outlet and press the cord rewind pedal.
When rewinding the mains lead, press the cord rewind
pedal by holding the plug so that it does not become
damaged.
C-8 Storage position
Slide the wand holder straight into the wand supporter
on the under side of the main body.
C-9 Park position
For short breaks during vacuuming, slide the wand
holder straight into the wand supporter on the rear side
of the main body.
NOTE: When you use park position, we suggest that
you switch the appliance off.

B - HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR CLEANER
B-1 Insert the connection pipe into the hose inlet until it
locks.
When removing the hose, push the two connection
buttons down while pulling out the connection pipe.
NOTE: Do not bend, pull and step on the hose or put
anything heavy on it.
B-2 Insert the curved wand into the upper end of the
telescopic wand.
Twist the telescopic wand so that the round hole will t
into the tab on the curved wand. (When removing the
curved wand, push the tab down while pulling out the
telescopic wand.)
Attach the oor nozzle to the other end.(Removal as per
reverse procedure)
B-3 Hold the grip and the extension adjuster and extend the
telescopic wand to the required length.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
Before using the vacuum cleaner, please observe these basic precautions.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if the mains lead or plug is damaged or faulty.
If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly quali ed persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
• Unplug from the socket outlet when not in use and before cleaning the appliance or undertaking maintenance operations.
• Turn off the appliance before removing the plug. Do not pull on the mains lead, always pull on the plug body itself.
• Hold the plug, when rewinding the mains lead.
• Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.
• Do not use wet lters after wash, make sure they are completely dry to avoid damaging the cleaner.
• Do not vacuum ammable or combustible substances, neither use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not vacuum hot ash, embers or large and sharp objects.
• Do not vacuum water or other liquids.
• Keep the vacuum cleaner away from heat sources such as radiators, res, direct sunlight, etc.
This vacuum cleaner is tted with a thermal cut-out device which automatically turns off the cleaner to prevent overheating of the
motor. When this happens, disconnect the cleaner from the socket outlet and check the dust compartment and lters as they may
be full or clogged with ne dust. Check for any other obstructions in the hose or tube. After removing the obstruction, leave the
cleaner to cool down until the thermal cut-out resets after approximately 60 minutes.

D - MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
CAUTIONS
The plug must be removed from the socket outlet
before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
DO NOT use hot air or hot surface to dry filters.
Dry them at room temperature for approximately 24
hours.
IMPORTANT: Before re-installing the washable
filters, make sure they are completely dry to avoid
damaging the appliance.
Indicator for replacing the paper dust bag.
Turn the power control to the highest setting and lift the nozzle
off the oor. If the dust indicator turns red, the paper dust bag
is full and requires replacing the paper dust bag.
NOTE: If the paper dust bag is not properly installed, the dust
cover will not close. Be sure to check that the paper
dust bag is properly installed before operating the
appliance, otherwise dust will leak out.
The paper dust bag can easily lay on the dust cover
packing or clip between the bag collar and the body,
so be sure to properly extend it into the body of the
appliance.
Replacing the paper dust bag
D-1 Hold the dust cover catch and raise the dust cover until
it clicks properly.
D-2 Remove the basket and throw away the paper dust bag.
D-3 Set the basket rst to the appliance and set a new paper
dust bag to the basket.
D-4 Close the dust cover properly until you hear it click.
Floor nozzle
D-5 Inspect once a month.
Using an old toothbrush or similar tool,clean any dirt or
lint from the brush.
Vacuum cleaner body
D-6 Wipe with a soft cloth soaked with water.
Maintaining the Pre-motor Filter
Follow the procedure written below when the suction power is
not restored after replacing a new paper dust bag.
D-7 Remove the pre-motor lter.
D-8 Wash gently with water and then allow to dry in a
shaded location.
D-9 Return the pre-motor lter to its original position.
NOTE: Make sure you remember to replace the lter.
If the lter is not installed, it will cause motor
failure.
Do not wash the lter in a washing machine or dry it
with a dryer or other source of hot air.
Exhaust filter
D-10 Exhaust lter, is installed in the rear side of the
appliance. This lter retains any small dust particles
which may be present in the expelled air. It is advisable
to change the lter once or twice a year, depending on
use. To change the lter, hold the exhaust cover (as
illustrated) and pull it out. After changed the lter, set the
exhaust cover to its position (as illustrated).
IMPORTANT: Never use the cleaner without the correct lters
properly installed. Failure to do so may result in
damage to the motor.
What to do if your cleaner does not work
Check that the appliance is correctly plugged in and that the
socket outlet is working. If the thermal cut-out device has
operated, wait until it resets automatically after approximately 60
minutes.
If after having checked the above mentioned points, the
appliance does not work, take it to an Authorized Service Centre
to be repaired.
What to do when the suction performance reduces
• Stop the appliance and unplug from the socket outlet.
Check whether the wands, hose and accessories are blocked or
not. If they are blocked, remove the obstruction.
Check whether the paper dust bag is full. If it is full, replace it.
Check whether the pre-motor filter or exhaust filter is blocked
with dust.
If they are blocked, clean them out or replace them.
