5. Open the EFI Designer Edition RIP.
6. EFI Designer Edition RIP settings, Preferences:
Select the Color tab:
o Color output preset: Select Proofing.
o Image profiles > Input RGB: If the file is RGB or there are any RGB images,
select the source RGB profile of your file, select Add profile button to add it. If
you don’t have it, select one from the list and select Perceptual.
o Image profiles > Input CMYK: Select the press profile you want to emulate
and Relative Colorimetric intent (Select Absolute Colorimetric if you want to
emulate the white of the paper). Select the Add profile button to add the profile
on the list if it is not there.
o Media profiles (output):
Paper name: Select the paper type that is loaded in the printer (always
calibrated).
Print quality: Best.

Select the Layout tab:
o Orientation: Select the orientation of your image on the paper.
o Set the Alignment and the Scaling settings you need.
Select Printer tab:
o Paper size: Select the paper size of the media loaded on the printer.
Click OK.
7. Select the Add button, browse to your file and select Open or drag and drop the file to the
spool panel.
8. Check the print layout before printing, select the file and select the Preview button, if it is ready
select Print. If you need to retouch any settings, you can do it in the Individual Job Settings
(View menu > Job Info).
