Pro-Tect is an opaque and non-flammable liquid
water repellant that dries clear. It is used to protect
stucco, masonry and mature concrete from water.
n
Pro-Tect penetrates into the pore structure beneath
the surface to form a water resistant zone, while
also allowing the material to breathe and permitting
moisture to dry-out through the surface.
n
Pro-Tect
enhances the beauty of cementitious stucco
by improving stain resistance while also repelling
water with fast beading action.
n
Pro-Tect
maintains the beauty of stucco by reducing
susceptibility to freeze-thaw damage, efflorescence,
biological growth, chemical degradation and
staining.
n Pro-Tect leaves no residue, dries clear and is
colorless.
n Overspray can be removed from glass and metal
surfaces with a glass cleaner.
n Complies with regional air quality regulations.
n Easy to store, handle and ship.
Uses:
n
To repel water from cementitious surfaces
n
Water repellency reduces staining potential
n
Reduces freeze-thaw damage
n
Reduces "wet look" of stucco after rain
coverage:
Depending on the condition of the substrate and the
method of application, approximate coverages are:
n Over very porous surfaces:
- 75 to 125 sq. ft. (7.0 – 11.6 sq. m.)
per gallon (3.8 liters)
n Over moderately porous surfaces:
- 125 to 150 sq. ft. (11.6 – 13.9 sq. m.)
per gallon (3.8 liters)
n Over dense surfaces:
- 150 to 175 sq. ft. (13.9 – 16.3 sq. m. )
per gallon (3.8 liters)

n 5 gallon (18.9 L) in plastic pails.
n Storage: Protect from sun and freezing at all times.
n Do not stack pails more than 3 pails high.
n Shelf Life: One year if properly stored in the original
unopened container.
Material stanDarDs:
n VOC Less than 50 grams per liter.
sUrFace preparation:
n
On stucco, masonry, and concrete, apply only to surfaces
that are sound, clean, dry, unpainted, and free of any
residue which may affect the ability of Pro-Tect to
penetrate the surface.
n
New concrete and masonry must be clean and cured a
minimum of 28 days.
n
Do not apply to substrates which are frozen or contain
frost or ice.
Mixing:
n Product is packaged ready to use. Do not dilute.
n Use clean equipment for mixing.
n Stir Pro-Tect to a uniform consistency. Avoid creating
air bubbles or foam.
n Stir occasionally as needed to keep uniformly mixed.

Read entire label before using this product.
n
Apply to properly prepared base by brush, roller,
or low pressure tank sprayer. Apply liberally with
generous overlapping. (see Limitations – Below)
n
If two coats are required, allow a minimum of two
hours of drying time before applying the second coat.
liMitations:
n
Do Not use for basement or below grade masonry.
n
Before applying Pro-Tect, test on a small
inconspicuous area and obtain color approval.
n
Use extra caution in protecting surfaces not to be
coated when using spray application methods.
Windy conditions or overspray can damage
surrounding surfaces.
n
Avoid application in direct sunlight in hot weather.
n
Inhaling vapors may cause irritation and or pain
to the nose and throat. Swallowing substantial
amounts may cause irritation, injury or diarrhea. Skin
contact may cause irritation and redness. Eye contact
may cause severe redness, burns and possible
permanent damage.
