PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Rainguard BLOK-LOK with Graffiti Control is a water-based, silan-
e/siloxane graffiti & water repellent that combines high-quality
penetrating chemical solids with an acrylic surface treatment com-
ponent, to create a clear, deep-penetrating, and non-film-forming
chemically-reactive masonry water repellent that contains no sili-
cone oils, paraffin wax, or urethanes.
MICRO-LOK creates a micro-molecular chemical and mechanical
bond between the water-repellent chemicals and the
substrate. BLOK-LOK penetrates deep into porous masonry
surfaces to pro-vide long-lasting and virtually indestructible
water-repellent pro-tection that is not affected by weather or
sunlight. The acrylic surface component make graffiti easy to
remove with Rainguard’s VandlClean Graffiti Cleaner.
BLOK-LOK provides superior grade, heavy-duty graffiti and water-
repellent performance on a wide variety of vertical surfaces. This
material is Ready To Use - Do Not Dilute.

PRECAUTIONS & LIMITATIONS
Do not apply to surfaces if moisture content is greater than
22% as measured with an electronic moisture meter. Do not
apply materials in climates where freezing temperatures have
existed prior to application. Allow adequate time for surfaces
to thaw. Establish that air, surface, and material temperatures
are above 35°F (2°C) and at least 5°F above the dew point prior
to painting. Do not apply at temperatures below 35°F or when
temperatures are expected to drop below 35°F within 48 hours
of application. Do not apply if rain, snow, or lower
temperatures are expected within 48 hours. Do not apply if
relative humidity is greater than 80%.
Use material in a well-ventilated area. Protect the work of
other trades. Protect shrubbery and other plants with drop
cloths. Pro-tect automobiles and all other areas not to be coated
from over-spray. Remove overspray from any windows,
automobiles, metal, etc. as soon as possible should it occur.
To prevent permanent staining, clean spills or leaks in a timely
manner.
Store materials in a well-protected area between 45° and 90°
F. Avoid freezing temperatures, direct sunlight, and moisture.
Keep away from heat sources.
TEST PANEL
Always apply material to a mock wall or test panel. Test wall or
actual surface area to determine acceptable color, surface
po-rosity, application rates, and methods before starting
general application.
FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS
1. BLOK-LOK wi
th Graffiti Control should be applied using low-
pressure airless spray equipment.
2. Avoid atomizing material by using a spray tip size of .035
to .051. Spray head should be held 8 to 12 inches from the
surface so that the flood coat runs down the wall approxi-
mately 6-12 inches below the point of application.
3. Avoid application in windy weather.
4. Trigger gun off at the end of each pass to avoid using exces-
sive materials. Stop all applications only at corners, joints,
seams, or edges.
5. Apply second coat wet on wet after first coat has been al-
lowed to penetrate for 5 minutes. Immediately roll or brush
out runs and drips to ensure even appearance.
VandlClean Graffiti Cleaner
Product Description:
Rainguard VANDLCLEAN Graffiti cleaner is an environmentally-friendly, biodegradable graffiti cleaner de-signed to
dissolve spray paint, marker, pen, pencil, ink, or glue. It is 100% water-neutralized (neutralized with wa-ter) and
is safe for use near waterways, rivers, canals, and reservoirs. VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner is a citrus-based,
pleasantly-scented, concentrated cleaner and degreaser designed for a wide range of cleaning chores on any
surface not harmed by water alone. Natural orange extracts coupled with biodegradable surfac-tants, dirt-
suspending agents, and builders produce a formidable cleaner for everyday applications. When com-pared with
other name brand products and other commonly used hard surface cleaners, VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner
demonstrates conclusive proof that citrus performs more efficiently and effectively. It is suitable for removing
graffiti from brick, cement, wood, or any porous surface. VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Remover may damage PVC
surfaces (plastics), so it is recommended that a small area be tested prior to use.
Application:
Non-Porous Metallic Surfaces
On previously painted surfaces, polished metal, stainless steel, aluminum, or any other type of non-porous sur-
face, spray VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner directly to the affected surface, and allow to remain until graffiti begins
to dissolve (one to two minutes). Wipe the surface clean of the graffiti.
Non-Porous Painted Surfaces
On painted surfaces, remove graffiti in small sections to ensure that the graffiti remover does not damage the
surface. In a case where the graffiti remover dissolves the underlying paint, immediately neutralize the cleaned
area with water. Use a clean section of the rag to remove any remaining graffiti residue once the majority of the
graffiti has been removed. Always wash the surface with water to neutralize the graffiti cleaner when the job is
completed.
Porous Surfaces (Brick or Concrete)
For brick or concrete surfaces, use a stiff brush to apply the graffiti remover into the porous surface. Apply the
product liberally and work the product into the porous surface using a twisting motion of the brush. Allow the
product to seep into the surface for a minimum of 20-30 minutes, then test to see if graffiti is dissolving. If graffiti
has dissolved, you may use high-pressure water to wash the graffiti from the surface. If a pressure washer is not
available, we recommend washing (scrubbing) the treated surface with warm water and an industrial-grade de-
greaser or soap. Rinse with fresh water when finished.
DO NOT USE HIGH PRESSURE WATER; DAMAGE TO SURFACE OF SUBSTRATE. MAY RESULT. IF ALL OF
THE GRAF-FITI IS NOT REMOVED IN THE FIRST ATTEMPT, PERFORM A SECOND APPLICATION WHEN
DRY. WE RECOM-MEND ROOM TEMPERATURE/WARM WATER (21°C-65°C / 70°F-150°F).
STEAM OR HOT WATER MAY DAMAGE THE SURFACE OR GROUTED AREAS.
Sandstone or Porous Concrete Surfaces
Use a stiff brush to apply the graffiti remover into porous surface. Apply the product liberally, and work the
product into the porous surface using a twisting motion of the brush. Allow the product to seep into the surface
for a minimum of 20-30 minutes, and then test to see if graffiti is dissolving.
DO NOT USE HIGH-PRESSURE WATER TO REMOVE GRAFFITI FROM THE SURFACE.
SANDSTONE IS EXTREMELY SOFT AND WILL BE DAMAGED BY HIGH-PRESSURE WATER.
We recommend washing (scrubbing) the treated surface with warm water and an industrial grade degreaser or
soap. Rinse with fresh water when finished. If shadows remain, allow surface to dry and perform a second re-
moval procedure.

Mixing:
DO NOT DILUTE. Rainguard VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner is 100% biodegradable and neutralized in wa-ter.
Water will neutralize the cleaner, making it ineffective. Once graffiti removal is complete, the surface should
be thoroughly washed down with water to neutralize any remaining active product.
Coverage:
Coverage of the remover will vary depending on how heavily the graffiti is painted on the surface. Multiple
appli-cations may be required to completely remove graffiti. Allowing the product to remain in place long
enough will maximize the coverage of the remover.
Storage and Handling:
Rainguard VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner is non-hazardous. Keep the VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner product
in a sealed container and store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated storage in compliance with all current and
local regulations. Keep out of direct sunlight, moisture, or rain. Maintain material in sealed containers at
all times. Do not store materials in unlabeled containers. The expected shelf-life of Rainguard VANDLCLEAN
Graffiti Cleaner is 24 months from the date of manufacture if stored as indicated above, in unopened and
sealed containers. Liquid products should be agitated before use if they have been stored for an extended
period.
Precautions:
CAUTION: Contains Delimonene, surfactants, lifters, and purified water. Avoid contact with eyes and
mucus membranes. In case of contact, flush with water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for 15
minutes. If swallowed, give large quantities of water and seek immediate medical attention. KEEP
OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. VANDLCLEAN Graffiti Cleaner is an ideal product for high-pressure
or steam-cleaning appli-cations. VANDLCLEAN will keep nozzles clean and free from corrosion.
