1. Remove the Calibration Screw on the right side of the Register. Set it aside for reinstallation.

NOTE: failure to remove the calibration screw prior to removing the register face could result in damage to the

2. Remove the ten screws from the Register face. Open the Register carefully and tilt the face

plate down. Set the screws aside for reinstallation.

3. Plug the register cable end into port J8 “MCR” on the docking board.

4. Route the cable around the right side of the Register to the rear securing the cable in the two cable clips.

Continue routing the cable into the rear of the Register as shown.

5. Install the individual wires into connector J2 as follows:

Black= Screw Terminal 4

Red = Screw Terminal 5

Green= Screw Terminal 6

6. Carefully reinstall the Register face ensuring no wires have been pinched. Reinstall the 10 screws to secure the

face plate.

7. Reinstall the Calibration Screw on the right side of the Register.

Mainboard Power Harness

Connecting DC Power to the DIN Rail

1. Route the black/red Mainboard Cable from the docking board harness to the DIN rail. Connect the black wire

to a DC ground terminal. Tighten the screw to secure the wire in place.

2. Connect the red wire to a DC +5V terminal. Tighten the screw to secure the wire in place.

Modem Power Cable

Connecting DC Power to the DIN Rail

1. Route the black /yellow Modem Power Cable from the modem board to the DIN Rail. Connect the black wire

to a DC Ground Terminal. Tighten the screw to secure the wire in place.

2. Connect the yellow wire to a DC +15V (or +12V) terminal. Tighten the screw to secure the wire in place.

Control Panel Assembly Installation

1. Remove all blue tape securing the cables and the hinge bracket during shipment. Plug the 2 cables taped to the

card reader into the top of the card reader.

2. Attach the Control Panel to the unit with the four screws supplied. Ensure the cables are not pinched.

3. Remove the cover from the back of the display by removing the nut holding it in place. Remove the cover

over the main board by liing the knob and sliding it back.

4. Locate the “Display” connector on the mainboard. Gently li the connector to the “open”position. Fully seat

the display cable in the connector, with the blue side facing the control panel. Close the connector ensuring the

cable stays fully seated.

5. Starting at the back of the display, fold the display cable back over the top of the display about 1 1/2”. en fold

under itself as shown.

NOTE: Do not make sharp creases or damage could occur.

6. Fold the cable back under again as shown.

7. Tape the cable in the two places shown.

8. Reinstall the display cover and secure it with the nut removed in step 3.

9. With the door fully open, secure the display cable to the edge of the door frame with 1 piece of tape.

10. Carefully open and close the door several times to ensure the display cable is not being pinched or rubbing

against any item.

11. Route the bundle of cables through the right front cable clip as shown. Plug the Mainboard Power Discon-

nect Harness connector into the Mainboard Power Harness cable from the mainboard as shown.

12. Secure the ground eyelet to the tray with the supplied screw as shown.

13. Plug the Card Reader RJ45 cable connector into the port on the mainboard labeled “Card Reader”. Plug the

keypad RJ45 cable connector into the port on the mainboard labeled “Keypad”.

14. Plug the display power cable into the mainboard port labeled “Display”.

15. Reinstall the docking board cover.
