SprayTip Maintenance
Excessivepump pressure cancause a pulsing sensationfelt
while squeezingthe spray gun trigger. Theprincipal causeof
excessivepump pressure is a spray tip clogged or restricted
with foreign materials such as dirt, etc.A clogged spray tip
could leadto pump cycling ON/OFFor not turning on even
when there is some flow.
To correct the problem, immediatelycleanthe spraytip by
following theseinstructions:
1. Pressthe master ON/OFFswitch to the OFF(0) center
position. Removepower cord plug from electricaloutlet.
2. Disconnectwater supply at the electric pressurewasher.
3. ALWAYSpoint spray gun in a safedirection, presstrigger
lock button and squeezespray gun trigger to release
retainedhigh water pressure.
_, WARNING The high pressure stream of water that
this equipment produces could cut through skin
and its underlying tissues, resulting in serious
injuryand possible amputation.
Spraygun traps high water pressure, evenwhen motor is
stopped and water is disconnected, which could result in
serious injury.
Keephigh pressure hoseconnected to pump and spray
gun while system is pressurized.
ALWAYSpoint spray gun in safe direction, squeeze
spray gun trigger to releasehigh pressure, every time
you turn off pressure washer.
4. Removespray tip from end of metal wand (A).
5. Usethe wiretip cleaner to free anyforeign material
clogging or restrictingspray tip (B).Thewire tip cleaner
is stored atthe lowerback leftofthe unit.
6. Usinga garden hose, remove additional debris by back
flushing waterthrough metal wand. Backflush between
30 to 60 seconds.
7. Reinstallspray tip into metal wand.
