OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
MODEL 211 BACK PRESSURE REGULATOR
GENERAL
Also known as a
riorit
valve, the model 211 is a full
balanced, economical regulator. It serves a wide variety
of uses, however it's main use is on small com
ressors.
The regulator will improve moisture separator efficiency
and filter life as much as 450%. This is done b
maintainin
ressure in the se
arator and filter at 1800
PSI or more when tank
ressure is lower. It has two
outlet
orts
ermittin
attachment of a fillin
oke and
au
e directl
to the re
ulator. This eliminates costl
fittings.
SPECIFICATIONS

• Set pressure - 1800 PSI (adjustable 300 to 5000)
• Materials - Anodized aluminum body, brass,
stainless steel, Viton seals
• Flow capacity - 2 to 50 SCFM
• Leakage - Zero external; 0.05 SCFM internal
• Ports - 1/4" female pipe thread (NPT)
• Size - 3 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1"
INSTALLATION
Use a suitable

as
such as a com

piping line insure it is adequately supported or adjacent

The re
ulator is NOT shi

Consult the factory for details on oxygen service.
OPERATION
In operation the back pressure regulator will maintain its
set
ressure u
stream and allow
ust enou
h
as flow
to hold this
ressure. The set
ressure can be
adjusted by loosening the 7/8" hex nut and turning the
ad
ustin
screw with a 5/16" Allen wrench. Set
ressure is
ressure at the inlet
ort when
as is

h the re
ulator. The
au
e connected
to the outlet
au
e
ort does not read set
ressure. It
reads
ressure of the tank bein
filled down stream of
the regulator.
