business machines. We are sure that the

desktop electronic adding

machine/calculator will satisfy your

calculating requirements for Euro

currency and European single monetary

union recommendations.

User safety

Connect the machine to an easily

accessible power outlet. The plug serves

as safety circuit breaker. Access the

printing assembly only to replace

accessories. Do not obstruct ventilation

areas located in the top part of the

machine; do not use the machine over or

near heat sources (e.g. radiators) or near

water (e.g. pools or showers). To clean it,

disconnect it from the power outlet, use a

damp cloth and do not use corrosive

liquids.

E Error condition; an incorrect entry is

made or the calculation exceeds the

machine capacity.

SLIDE SWITCHES

Decimal point selector: AM 0 2 3 6 F

AM position (Add Mode).

The decimal point is automatically set

two places to the left during an addition

or subtraction. All totals are given with

two positions to the right of the decimal

point.

0, 2, 3, 6 position

Floating/fixed decimal point enables a

floating entry, regardless of the decimal

points required in the results. Results are

printed with the pre-selected number of

decimal points.

F position (automatic floating point)

Allows decimally correct calculations.

The decimal point is automatically moved

to the right as long as the integer part of

the result has less then 12 digits.

TAX NP EURO

TAX position

Printing is automatically activated. The

tax rate is programmed with the [RATE]

key and the programmed tax can be

included or excluded in a calculation by

pressing the [

] and [LOCAL] keys.

NP position

Printer is activated only when the

or Non-add/Date key is pressed.

EURO position

Printing is automatically activated. The

EURO rate is programmed by pressing

the [RATE] key, while EURO - Local

currency conversions can be performed

by pressing the [

] and [LOCAL] keys.

KEYPAD

RATE Tax/EURO preset; enter EURO

to Local conversion rate with

the slide switch set to EURO,

enter the tax rate with it set to

TAX or NP.

LOCAL Local/Tax exclude; converts

displayed value to Local

currency when the slide switch

is set to EURO, calculates the

amount without tax (eventually

set with the RATE key) when

the slide switch is set to TAX or

NP.

EURO/Tax include; converts

displayed value to EURO when

the slide switch is set to EURO,

calculates the amount with tax

(as set with the RATE key)

when the slide switch is set to

TAX or NP).

Subtraction; pressing this key

immediately after [%] performs

a percent minus calculation.

#/D Non-add/Date; prints a live entry

as invoice number or date

indicated by an #.

Subtotal; when slide switch is set

to Tax or EURO, the item counter

number is also printed.

Total; prints and clears the

accumulator. When the slide

switch is set to Tax or EURO, the

item counter number is also

printed.

Memory Keys: M

Memory Plus/Minus;

adds/subtracts an amount

to/from memory. If a live

calculation is pending, pressing

this key will complete the

calculation and

accumulate/subtract the result

to/from memory.

M Memory Subtotal; prints but

does not clear the memory

Memory total; prints and clears

the memory.
