cannotbesettoorhigherthan77%or
60%.
• Themonitoralwaysmonitorsitsinternaltemperature.
Iftheinternalmonitorreachesahightemperature
andexceedsthespeciedvalue,themonitorwill
automaticallyenterthefollowingstatetodecreasethe
temperature.
- Ifthebrightness(brilliance)ofthescreenexceeds
77%or60%,reducethesettingvalueto77%or
60%.
- Thebrightness(brilliance)ofthescreencannotbe
settoorhigherthan77%or60%.
(Thesettingvalueforbrightness(brilliance)is
dividedinto2stepsaccordingtotheinternal
temperatureofthemonitor.)
Thisstatewillreturntotheoriginalwhentheinternal
temperaturedecreases.
Iftheinternaltemperatureincreasesfurthereven
afterdecreasingthesettingvalueforbrightness
(brilliance),a“WARNING”messageisdisplayedand
themonitorpowerautomaticallyturnsoff.(Power
indicatorashesorange.)
3. Charactersareblurred. • CheckwhetherthePCisconguredtomeetthe
resolutionandverticalscanfrequencyrequirements
ofthemonitor.(“CompatibleResolutions”intheSetup
Manual.)
4. Afterimagesappear. • AfterimagesareparticulartoLCDmonitors.Avoid
displayingthesameimageforalongtime.
• Usethescreensaverorpowersavingfunctionto
avoiddisplayingthesameimageforextendedperiods
oftime.
5. Green/red/blue/whitedotsordefective
dotsremainonthescreen.
• ThisisduetoLCDpanelcharacteristicsandisnota
failure.
6. Interferencepatternsorpressuremarks
remainonthescreen.
• Leavethemonitorwithawhiteorblackscreen.The
symptommaydisappear.
7. Noiseappearsonthescreen. • WhenenteringthesignalsofHDCP,thenormal
imagesmaynotbedisplayedimmediately.
8. Cloudinesscannotberemovedeven
afterwipingthescreen./Thereisdew
condensationontheinteriorsideofthe
glass.
• Whencloudinesscannotberemovedevenbywiping
thescreen,dewcondensationmayhaveoccurredon
theinteriorsideoftheglassthatprotectsthepanel.In
thiscase,turnonthemonitoranddisplaysomething
onscreen.Thedewcondensationwilldisappearafter
awhile.Also,warmingtheglassusingahairdryer
maymakethedewcondensationdisappearmore
quickly.Dewcondensationappearinglikethisonthe
interiorsideoftheglasswillnotleadtoproductfailure
ordegradation.
