INTENDED USE
Your Black & Decker citrus juicer has been
designed for juicing citrus fruits. This product is
intended for household use only.

This appliance is double insulated in
accordance with EN 60335-2-14; therefore
no earth wire is required.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the cord, plug or motor unit in
water or other liquid.
USE
Juicing
Cut the citrus fruit in half crosswise
(not end to end).
Connect the appliance to the power supply.
Place the lower strainer onto the jug.
Place the upper strainer onto the lower strainer.
Place the lower reamer onto the upper strainer.
For large fruits, place the upper reamer onto
the lower reamer.
Set the slide to the required position to adjust
the juice sieve:
- small holes for juice without pulp
- large holes for juice with lots of pulp
Position the jug on the motor unit and turn it
clockwise to lock it into position.
Press the cut side of the fruit down on the
reamer to start juicing.
This juicer is equipped with a reverse reaming
feature for thorough juicing. The reamer will rotate
clockwise, stop, then rotate counterclockwise.
Continue juicing until you have enough juice or
until the juice reaches the bottom of the pour
spout of the jug.
Remove the reamer and strainers.
Take the jug from the motor unit.
Pour the juice.
Do not operate the appliance continuously
for more than 5 minutes. After operating
the appliance continuously for 5 minutes,
let it cool down for at least 10 minutes
before operating it again.
Hints for optimum use
Let the fruit attain room temperature before
juicing.
Roll the fruit between the palm of the hand and a
counter top before cutting, to loosen the fibres.
Manipulate the fruit from side to side while
reaming to get the maximum juice yield.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, unplug
the appliance.
Wash the removable plastic parts in warm
soapy water and dry well.
Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not
use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or
any other liquid.
PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Black & Decker provides a facility for
recycling Black & Decker products once
they have reached the end of their
working life. This service is provided free
of charge. To take advantage of this
service please return your product to any
authorised repair agent who will collect
them on our behalf.

professional or hire purposes;
The product has been subjected to misuse or
neglect;
The product has sustained damage through
foreign objects, substances or accidents;
Repairs have been attempted by persons other
