When the THERMOMETER is ready to
take temperature, you hear “PLEASE
MEASURE” by voice announcement.
When the measurement is finished, the
reading is announced in addition to the
display on the thermometer screen

This Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer
measures temperature directly from the
forehead without contact and obtains a quick
and accurate human body temperature.
5. MEASURING
1. Non-Contact Type Forehead Measuring
Mode (Figure 5.1B)
Turn on the POWER button key of the
infrared thermometer; all displayed
segments appear briefly as shown on
(Figure 5.2B)
When figure 5.3B displays on the screen,
it is ready to obtain the most recent
temperature taken.
When the FOREHEAD symbol “ ” is
displayed on the screen (Figure 5.4B) at
the same time that Cº or Fº blinks, it is
ready to take the temperature.
–When unit prompts with either Cº or Fº
you can press the button to change to the
mode of degrees desired.
Before you measure, make sure forehead
is dry and clean.
Place the thermometer in front of the
forehead WITHOUT TOUCHING THE SKIN,
approximatey 5 to 10cm (2 to 4 inches)
away and PRESS the SCAN BUTTON.
The measurement will appear in one
second, followed by a long BEEP sound.
–The reading will also be displayed as
shown on Figure 5.5B.
Thermometer will automatically SHUT OFF
within 60 seconds on non-use.

2. Ambient Temperature Measuring Mode
(Figure 5.1C)
Turn on the POWER button key of the
infrared thermometer; all displayed
segments appear briefly as shown on
(Figure 5.2C)
When figure 5.3C displays on the screen,
it is ready to obtain the most recent
temperature taken.
When the HOUSE symbol “ ” is
displayed on the screen (Figure 5.4C) at
the same time that Cº or Fº blinks, it is
ready to take the temperature.
–When unit prompts with either Cº or Fº
you can press the button to change to the
mode of degrees desired.
Access ambient temperature scanning by
approximatey 5 to 10cm (2 to 4 inches)
away from the target and PRESS the SCAN
BUTTON. The measurement will appear in
one second, followed by a long BEEP sound.
–The reading will also be displayed as
shown on Figure 5.5C.
Thermometer will automatically SHUT OFF
within 60 seconds on non-use.

3. How to switch VOICE mode to ON or OFF
During POWER OFF MODE, press “SCAN”
button for about 5 seconds until “ON” or
“OFF” is displayed on the screen then
release the button. Continually pressing
the “SCAN” button allows you to access
the voice announcement option to either
the “ON” or “OFF” mode.
4. SPANISH/ENGLISH OPTION:
During POWER OFF mode, press “SCAN”
button for about 10 seconds until ES
(SPANISH) or US (ENGLISH) symbol
blinks on LCD display and release the
“SCAN” button.
–Switch from ENGLISH to SPANISH by
continually pressing the “SCAN” button.
5. FAHRENHEIT/CELSIUS OPTION:
During POWER OFF mode, press “SCAN”
button for about 15 seconds until Cº or Fº
symbol blinks on LCD display and release
the “SCAN” button.
–Switch from ENGLISH to SPANISH by
continually pressing the “SCAN” button.
6. HUMAN BODY/AMBIENT OPTION:
During POWER OFF mode, switch the “ ”
symbol on the side of the unit to “ ” to
choose the mode of measuring.

9. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
REPLACE BATTERY:
1. Remove the battery compartment cover by
gently pushing down on the arrow and
sliding the cover forward.
2. Place batteries with “POSITIVE” (+) and
“NEGATIVE” (-) terminals matching the
terminals in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery cover by gently sliding
it into the compartment and pressing it
into place.
1. Always keep the probe portion clean after
each use.
2. Keep the thermometer unit dry and keep
away from water or liquid.
3. DO NOT expose the thermometer unit to
direct sunlight. Keep free from dust
dirt and sharp objects.
4. DO NOT DISASSEMBLE the unit.
5. Take temperature only when relaxed.
Never take your temperature after exercise
or a bath. Rest at least 30 minutes after
walking.
6. Keep thermometer away from mobile
phones to prevent malfunction.
7. If you get any of the following display
messages, we recommend taking your
temperature at least THREE TIMES and use
the HIGHEST reading.
Please use a clean cloth with alcohol to
clean before and after each use.
AVOID using on more than one person at
a time to avoid cross-contamination.
RANGE OF BODY TEMPERATURE
Body temperature means internal temperature
of the body. Normal temperature means that
of a healthy person and has little change
within short range. Temperature of a person
measured in the evening is normally 0.5ºC
higher than early morning. It can also be
affected by the environment, time and level of
activity. The chart below shows average
ranges for an average person. Refer to this
chart to find each specific body temperature
range.
LIMITED WARRANTY
This infrared thermometer is guaranteed for 2
years from the purchasing date under normal
use. The warranty does not cover the
damage resulting from improper use or the
battery running out. If the unit does not
function properly due to defective parts or
assembly, we will repair it free of charge or
replace with a new thermometer.

7. 12 MOST RECENT MEMORY RECALL
During POWER OFF MODE, press “SCAN”
button and you will see the memory recall
when “M” displays on the screen.
Continually pressing the “SCAN” button
and the previous temperature will display
on the screen.
–To exit memory recall mode, press the
POWER button directly and you will return
to the next measurement.
8. DELETING TEMPERATURE MEMORY
During POWER OFF MODE, press “SCAN”
button first, the continually press and
release “POWER” button. The LCD screen
will display “888.8” and turn off simultane
ously. Under this mode, if you immediately
release the “SCAN” button again, the LCD
display will show Fu1 - Fu3 - Fu4 until the
screen appear blank. Press the “SCAN”
button again, and all memories will be
deleted.
6. BATTERY VOLTAGE DISPLAY &
REPLACEMENT
LOW BATTERY:
When the LCD display shows “Lo” (Figure
6.1), the batteries need to be replaced for
accurate readings.

ORAL 35.5 - 37.5ºC (95.9 - 99.5ºF)
RECTAL 36.6 - 38.0ºC (97.9 - 100.4ºF)
EAR 35.8 - 38.0ºC (96.4 - 100.4ºF)
FOREHEAD 35.8 - 37.8ºC (96.4 - 100.0ºF)

0 - 2 age 36.4 - 38.0ºC (97.5 - 100.4ºF)
