Congratulations on the purchase of your Montre Extraordi-
naire “La Rose”.
Created by Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre, this piece is the
fruit of an alliance between fine watchmaking and jewellery
raised to its highest degree of expression.
The master jewellers and setters at Manufacture Jaeger-Le-
Coultre have devoted themselves to creating an authentic,
naturalistic work of art. Driven by their passion for a trade
they have fully mastered, they have been able to instil life in
the material to reproduce a simple flower with all its delicacy,
fragility, imperfection and beauty, and indeed enhance it.
With its delicately interwoven petals, and fine curved leaf veins,
every detail of the “Queen of flowers” has been reproduced
as faithfully as possible by the Manufacture’s setters. Prized for
its beauty and aroma, and celebrated since ancient times by a
host of poets and writers, no other flower than the rose could
better illustrate the talent of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s gem-setters.
It offers these artists extraordinary creative scope to combine
beauty and grace, in a movement which appears to be with-
out limits grace in a seemingly endless flowing motif.
A perfect example of the finest jewellery creation, the “La Rose”
watch brings together two exceptional types of know-how:
artistic expression and time measurement precision. Equipped
with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 846, a manually wound
mechanical movement, it is presented in an 18 carat white gold
case. This enigmatic watch conceals its gem-set dial under one
of its petals.

In case of accidental immersion, your Montre Extraordinaire
is guaranteed water-resistant. However, given its fragility and
complexity, we recommend taking it off when you bathe.

Use
Before you first use your Montre Extraordinaire, we must em-
phasise its delicacy and that it requires the greatest care when
being handled.
When you have it in your hands, take care not to grip too
tightly, as its structure could be deformed.
The crown of the Montre Extraordinaire is used for:
- Winding the watch in position 1.
- Setting the hour and minute hands in position 2.
Starting the watch
To access the winding crown:
1) Pull out stem
A, which is under the flower.
2) At the same time press on the crystal from above to turn
the case and remove it from its housing.

Crown in position 1.
The watch is wound by turning the crown clockwise. It is com-
plete when the crown locks. For good rate accuracy, we rec-
ommend winding your watch regularly, once a day.
Setting the hour and minute hands
Pull the crown out to position 2.
Move the hands forward clockwise until the desired time is
displayed.
When the operation is completed, push the crown back to
position 1.
Once the setting is complete, put the case back in its housing,
pushing it from below until it clicks into place.

Opening and closing the wristlet
To open the wristlet, you need only press on the catch at the
end of the wristlet, under the flower, gently releasing it while
pulling the wristlet section forward.
To close, put the wristlet section back in its housing and press
until it clicks into place. A variety of positions enables fine
adjustment to your wrist.
