GAUGE : 11 sts x 16 rows = 4" [10 cm] in pattern; save time and check your gauge
PATTERN NOTE :
This Blanket is worked flat from end to end on a circular needle to accommodate the
large number of stitches.
SPECIAL STITCHES :
• Bow Stitch
•Rows 1 and 5 (RS) : Knit.
•Row 2 (WS) : K5, *p3, k3; rep from * to last 5 sts, k5.
•Row 3 : K5, *p1, k1b, p1, k3; rep from * to last 5 sts, k5.
•Rows 4 and 8 : K5, purl to last 5 sts, k5.
•Row 6 : K5, *k3, p3; rep from * to last 5 sts, k5.
•Row 7 : K5, *k3, p1, k1b, p1; rep from * to last 5 sts, k5.
•Rep Rows 1-8 for patt.
•K1b (knit 1 below) : Knit into the next st in the row below.
• Garter Stitch : Knit every row.
INSTRUCTIONS :
Cast on 82 sts. Work 6 rows even in Garter Stitch.
Main Body
Work even in Bow Stitch until piece measures 29" [74 cm] from cast-on edge.
Work 6 rows even in Garter Stitch. Loosely bind off all sts.
Finishing : Weave in ends. Wash and block to finished measurements, if desired.
