Rainbow Sherbet Blanket
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS : Length = 52" [132 cm] and
Width = 32.5" [83 cm]
GAUGE : 3.5 sts x 5.5 rows = 4" [10 cm] in pattern, save time and
check your gauge
PATTERN NOTE :
This blanket is worked flat lengthwise from end to end. A circular needle is
used to accommodate for the large number of stitches.
SPECIAL STITCHES :
• Seed Stitch (Odd number of sts)
•Row 1 : *K1, p1; rep to last st, k1.
•Rep Row 1 for patt.
• Garter Stitch : Knit every row.
INSTRUCTIONS :
With Coral, cast on 45 sts.
Work in Seed Stitch for 4½" [11 cm].
Change to Peach and work in Seed Stitch for 4½" [11 cm].
Change to Yellow and work in Seed Stitch for 4½" [11 cm].
Change to Lime Green and work in Seed Stitch for 4½" [11 cm].
Change to Turquoise and work in Seed Stitch for 4½" [11 cm].
Change to White and work in Garter Stitch for 10" [25 cm].
Bind off all sts.
Finishing : Weave in ends.
