Distribution Module
The On-Q Home 6 Room Audio Distribution Module, P/N 364454-01
(see Figure 1), provides the distribution of an amplified stereo and audio source
to six (6) pairs of speakers through On-Q Home Impedance Matching Volume
Controls, P/N 364520-xx. The module can be mounted in any On-Q Home
service center enclosure and can accommodate up to 14 AWG speaker cable.
2. Description
Figure 1
The On-Q Home 6 Room Audio Distribution Module has fourteen (14) removable two-position terminal blocks which are
connected in parallel on a printed circuit board. The terminal blocks can be removed to allow for easier wire termination. The
module is half an enclosure width and occupies three (3) vertical inches of space.
3. Installation
NOTE: Failure to ensure proper impedance to the source my result in damage to audio equipment and speakers.
A. Mounting in enclosure, (see Figure 2)
1) Align tabs on module with slots on the rear of the enclosure.
2) Insert tabs by angling module away from the back of the enclosure.
3) Rotate the module and insert fasteners on module into corresponding
holes on the rear of the enclosure. (Plunger must be in a pulled
position for fastener to engage hole.)
4) Push plunger in to lock module in place. Pull on module to ensure
module is locked properly in place.
