Call Center Headset User Manual
Features:
1. Adjustable Headband - User may adjust the headband to the length that he / she feel most
comfortable.
2. Rotatable Microphone Boom - On the image above, it’s shown that the microphone boom is
rotatable. User may put the headset earpiece on the left or right ear and rotate the microphone
boom to put the microphone in front of user’s mouth.
3. Manageable Microphone Stem - The
microphone stem is flexible and it will stay in the
position the user wants it to be.
4. Smooth Leatherette Cushion - Smooth and
comfortable.
5. Ball in Joint Earpiece connection - Earpiece
connected to the headset with Ball in Joint.
Earpiece can move to different direction to fit with
user’s ear perfectly.
On cord switch box:
Volume and Mute
6. Volume Control - Volume control on headset
cord to adjust the speaker volume up and down.
7. Mute - Mute switch on headset cord to enable
and disable the headset microphone.
On cord switch box:
Gears 1, 2, 3 determine compatibility
8. Compatible Switch - Switch to adjust the
headset to be compatible with different
telephone brands and models.
Pigtail
9. Female RJ9 to 2.5mm Male Pigtail - Connect the headset
to the telephone’s 2.5mm headset jack.
Quick Instruction 1: (for phones with RJ9 headset jack)
1. Place the headset over the head. The headband should be on top of head and speaker cushion should be over
the ear(s).
2. Adjust the length of the headband to fit your head and turn the earpieces slightly until the headset fits
comfortably. For one earpiece models, position the T-bar above your ear.
3. Connect the headset directly to the headset port on the back of the telephone. (This headset is not
compatible with 3
rd
party adapters)
4. Find your telephone’s brand under the gear guide to select gear 1, 2 or 3.
5. Press the headset button on your telephone to make a test call; if the microphone doesn’t work nor has poor
sound quality, try a different gear.
This switch is crucial for headset functionality; it controls speaker and microphone’s voice quality. Choosing the
correct gear optimizes your headset’s performance.
GEAR 1: This gear works for most brands of phones; including but not limited to Allworx, Avaya models
(except 1600 & 9600 series), Mitel, Nortel, ShoreTel, FortiFone, Polycom, NEC and Unify optiPoint.
GEAR 2: This gear works for Avaya 1600 & 9600 series. Also is compatible but not limited to Digium,
Grandstream, Panasonic HDV series, Yealink and Zultys phones.
GEAR 3: This gear is compatible with Cisco phones that require an RJ9 headset connection, Panasonic UTG
series and Avaya Lucent Callmaster.
Quick Instruction 2: (for phones with 2.5mm headset jack)
1. Place the headset over the head. The headband should be on top of head and speaker cushion should be over
the ear(s).
2. Adjust the length of the headband to fit your head and turn the earpieces slightly until the headset fits
comfortably. For one earpiece models, position the T-bar above your ear.
3. Connect the headset directly to the headset port
on the back of the telephone. (This headset is not

4. Select gear 1 on the switch box.
5. Connect the headset’s RJ9 connector to the comes
with pigtail’s female RJ9 port and connect the
pigtail’s 2.5mm connector to the phone’s 2.5mm
headset jack.
6. Press the headset button to the telephone’s
keypad to use the headset.
