THE AIR OUTLET AND TRACK
PARTS
With this stage, you have received the air outlet louvre and grille, a second towing
cable, and five more track treads and pins. The following steps will show you how to
fit the grillles and continue to build the track.
1. Air outlet louvre

4. Screw
5. Screws (2 pcs)
6. Treads (5 pcs)
7. Pins (5 pcs)
For this stage, you will need the hull, the air outlet louvre and grille,
screws and a screwdriver.
Holding the grille in place, turn the louvre
over and place it on the rear of the hull.
Place the grille into the recess in the air outlet
louvre, as shown.

Now turn the hull over, and and insert a
screw into each of the circled holes.
Carefully tighten the screws into place. You will now need your assembled track,
your latest treads and pins, a small hammer
and a wooden board.
Align this stage’s treads and pass the pins
through the holes.
Connect the new segment of track with
your existing one, and pass a pin through
the aligned holes. First check that the pin’s
path is clear (arrows), then turn the track
on its side and hammer the pin into place.
You now have a segment of five treads.
Place the remaining pin into the last
segment, as shown.
Position the track section on its side, and
lightly hammer the pins into the treads until
they are flush with them.
This stage is now complete.

THE EXTERNAL FUEL TANKS
PARTS
With this stage, you receive another road wheel and parts, five more track treads
and pins, and the fifth external fuel tank (with rear fender). You will be fitting the
fourth (Stage 16) and fifth external fuel tanks in the following steps.
1. Road wheel inner
2. Road wheel outer
3. Suspension arm
4. Washer
5. Split washer
6. Nut
7. Hub cap
8. Screw
9. Axle bolt
10. Spring
11. Treads (5 pcs)
12. Pins (5 pcs)
13. Fifth external fuel tank
(with rear fender)
14. Screws (2 pcs)
For this stage, you will need a screwdriver, the hull and the fourth
(Stage 16) and fifth external fuel tanks.
Place the fourth tank into position on
the hull, lowering the two posts into the
corresponding holes (circled).
Take the fourth external fuel tank, and
remove the two screws from the posts on
the underside.

Turn the hull over, holding the tank in
place ,and insert one of the screws into
the circled hole.
Insert the second screw into the other
hole (circled).
Tighten the screws into place.
Take the fifth external fuel tank (with rear
fender) and insert the two posts on the
underside of it into the two holes in the hull.
Half-tighten the first screw into place.
This is how the tank should look when
in position.
Half-tighten the second screw into the other
hole. Then fully tighten both screws.
Turn the hull over, holding the tank in
place, and insert the two screws into the
circled holes.
This is how the hull should now look, with
all of the external fuel tanks and the front
and rear right side fenders fitted.

THE TRACK AND AIR INLETS
PARTS
In this stage, you receive the air inlet parts and more track treads and pins. In the
following steps, you will fit the inlets to the hull and continue to assemble the track.
1. Air inlet louvres (2 pcs)
2. Air inlet grilles (2 pcs)
3. Small air inlet grille
4. Air inlet grille plate (khaki)
5. Air inlet grille plate (sand)
6. Screws (10 pcs)
7. Pins (5 pcs)
8. Treads (5 pcs)
For this stage, along with the parts received,
you will need a small hammer, a screwdriver, a
wooden board, hull and track.

Following the process detailed in previous
stages, fit the five treads received with this
stage to the rest of the track.
Take one of the air inlet grilles and place it
into the recess on the right of the hull, at the
rear, as shown.
Place one of the louvres over the grille,
inserting the posts on the underside into the
holes in the hull.
Turn the hull over and insert a screw into
each of the circled holes.
Place the small air inlet grille over the
raised rectangular area on the right-hand
side of the hull, behind the turret, next
to the fourth external fuel tank. Align the
holes at the sides of the grille with those in
the hull, and then place the posts on the
underside of the two plates into the holes.
Make sure the colours of the plates (khaki
and sand)match the colours on the hull.
Tighten the screws into the holes to secure
the louvre to the hull.
Tighten a screw into each of the two circled
holes in the underside of the hull, fixing the
plates in place.
Repeat Steps 3-6 to fit the second grille
and louvre to the left side of the hull, as
shown above.
Here’s how your assembly should
now look.

THE TRACK AND ENGINE
ACCESS PANEL
PARTS
With this stage, you receive more treads and pins for the track, as well the engine
access panel. You will be fitting the new treads to the existing track and the engine
access panel to the hull, in front of the air inlets.
1. Engine access panel

Engage one of the treads with the end of
the track.

You will need the parts received with this stage,
your track, a small hammer, a wooden board,
screws, a screwdriver and the hull.

Insert a pin through the aligned holes,
as shown.
Fit the remaining four treads in the
same way.
Place the track on its side, on the wooden
board, and then lightly hammer the pins
into place.
Insert the remaining pin through the holes at
the end of the track.
Turn the hull over and insert a screw into
each of the circled holes.
Align the posts on the underside of the
engine access panel with those in the
hull (arrowed).
Tighten the three screws into place to
secure the panel.
Lower the engine access panel onto
the hull.
This stage is now complete.

THE TURRET RING AND TRACK
PARTS
With this stage, you receive a very important part of your model: the turret ring gear.
This part allows the turret to rotate under your control. You will be assembling more
of the track, and fitting the turret ring gear to the turret base.
1. Turret ring gear
2. Screws (4 pcs)
You will need the turret base, turret ring gear, a
screwdriver and screws.

Prepare the turret base and the turret
ring gear.
Hold the ring gear over the base, aligning
the corresponding holes of both parts.
Insert a screw into each of the four circled
holes in the ring gear.
Tighten the four screws into the holes.
Make sure that the holes are always clear
and aligned before inserting pins through
them. If you have two sections of track,
engage the ends of both and insert a pin
through the aligned holes.
Prepare your track section, a small hammer,
a wooden board and the loose treads and
pins. Follow the steps detailed in previous
stages to assemble the treads.
Place the track on its side on the wooden
board, and gently hammer the pins into
the treads.
You can either create another section
of track, or fit the loose treads onto the
existing section.
This stage is now complete.

PARTS

Place the hull upside down, and align the two
LEDs on the circuit board with the two circled
holes in the hull. Lower the board into place,
making sure the LEDs enter the holes.

For this stage, you will need the hull, the
headlight circuit board, the two screws, a
screwdriver and some tweezers.

THE HEADLIGHTS AND TRACK
With this stage, you receive five more treads and pins, as well as a circuit board with
two LEDs which will act as the headlights.

Using tweezers, place one of the screws
into the hole in the circuit board, as shown.
Half-tighten the screw into the hole. Don’t
force any of the parts, because the circuit
board is fragile.
Place the second screw into the hole at the
other end of the board.
Carefully half-tighten the second screw into
the hole. When both screws are in place,
carefully tighten them fully.
Hammer the pins into the treads.
Prepare the track, a small hammer, a
wooden board, and any loose treads
and pins.
Connect together any track sections you
have into one piece.
Engage the treads and insert a pin through
the aligned holes.
This stage is now complete.
