1.1 General info
Hongdian H332x MDVR (mobile digital video recorder) is a 3G/4G mobile DVR for vehicle
use with integration of 4 channels AV collection, storage and data transmission. It will collect
and digitally code the AV data from sound pickup, camera, and then transmit the data to
monitoring center for surveillance purpose.
1.2 Product application
This product is mainly used for vehicle surveillance, such as city bus, long distance bus, turist
bus, school bus, truck, dangerous cargo vehicles. Application topology is as follows figure 1-

The procedure to install H332x MDV is as shown in figure 2-1.

2.2 Open box
After all materials arrive at the site, cartons shall be opened to check all materials are
complete. Complete materials include the following equipment in table 2-1. Package carton
shall be kept properly for a second transportation.

2.3 Install Hard disk & SIM card
Usually H332x MDVR is equipped without HD. Customers can buy 2.5” SATA Hard Disk
themselves. Customers are suggested to choose good quality or famous brand HD to
guarantee save data storage.
Based on our test, if the MDVR is set as single channel CIF format, PAL, 25 f/s, 200kbps, the
data storage will be 50-60 MB in 30 minutes. Customers can difine their HD capabitlity based
on this test data.
