Note: The Bora Rip Guide is meant to be used with the Bora saw plate.

These instructions assume you have the saw plate installed.

1. Install the handle on the end of the measuring guide

(For right hand use,

install to the 2,1,0 end. For left hand use, install at the other end.)

Tighten with

the supplied screw. For right hand use, the zero should line up exactly with

your material edge. For left hand use, you may adjust the measuring rail to

make measuring easier.

2. Slide the plastic wedge into the channel of the measuring guide, and move to

approximately where you wish to cut.

3. Place the Bora Saw Plate with attached saw over the channel. You should

be able to “see” the wedge

(and its screw hole)

through the horizontal hole

(adjust until you can see it.)

Use the supplied screw with handle to attach the

saw plate to the wedge. Do not tighten fully, but tighten enough to ensure the

wedge and saw plate remain attached and can slide together in the channel.

4. Line up your blade guide with where you want to cut, and then tighten the

wedge’s locking screw.

5. Your rip guide is now ready to use.
