Remove the hardware from the tank
bracket. Align holes of tongue with holes
in tank bracket and secure with the
hardware just removed.
Tools Required:
• /-inch wrench (or adjustable wrench)
• /-inch wrench (or adjustable wrench)

A. Release the
beam lock.
A. Remove the spring
clip and clevis pin.
B. Pivot jack stand into
operating position.
C. Secure the jack
stand with the
spring clip and
clevis pin.
Lift and slide
the cylinder
to the top of the beam
and onto the bracket.
A. Remove the dislodger.
B. Remove the log tray and two adjacent screws
from the left side of the beam.
A. Re-attach the dislodger.
B. Re-attach the log tray.

Rotate the Engine Stop Switch
to the ON position.
Fill tank with gas to bottom of fuel level limit in
the neck of the fuel tank. Do not overfill. Turn fuel
valve to ON position.
Grasp the Starter Rope Handle and pull with a quick, full
arm stroke.
If engine does not start after ten seconds of repeated
pulls, wait a few minutes and repeat.
Push the Choke Control inward after engine starts.
IMPORTANT: Check engine oil, lubricate beam,
check hydraulic fluid level and prime the pump before operating.
Refer to Operator’s Manual for instructions.

Remove the bow-tie clip and clevis pin from
the control handle.

clevis pin.
