CK60 DEX Adapter
CK60 DEX Adapter Quick Start Guide
DEX/UCS is an industry standard for electronic transfer of invoice information between the
supplier’s mobile computer and the retailer’s in-store receiving system. The transfer takes
place via a DEX adapter cable.
The DEX Snap-On Adapter allows quick and easy attachment of the DEX cable to the CK60
Handheld Computer. Two metal guides ensure proper alignment of the Adapter to the
handheld computer; spring clips hold the Adapter securely in place while the handheld
computer is carried around the store.
A power connector on the DEX Adapter allows connection of an external power supply
(p/n: 851-065-003) to the CK60 without removing the Adapter.
Note that the DEX Adapter must be removed from the CK60 in order to dock the
handheld computer.
To attach the DEX Adapter:
Align metal clips with guides on either side of the CK60 Handheld Computer and press
firmly. The Adapter will latch into place.
To remove the DEX Adapter:
Squeeze the finger grips on both sides of the DEX Adapter to disengage clips and pull the
DEX Adapter away from the handheld computer
