..PRODUCT APPLICATION .
PAINTING CONDITIONS
Use outdoors or in a well ventilated area. Use when
temperature is between 50-90°F (10-32°C) and humidity is
below 85% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply to
surfaces that exceed 200°F (93°C) or galvanized metal.
When using spray equipment, avoid spraying in very
windy and dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to
protect from spray mist.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Make sure the surface is wiped clean and free of any dirt,
oils, grease or wax. If needed, wash the surface with soap
and water, rinse and let dry. Remove loose paint and rust
with a wire brush or sandpaper.

release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD
DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN
DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN
SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved
respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a
HEPA vacuum and a wet mop. Before you start, find out how to

..PRODUCT APPLICATION (cont.) .
APPLICATION
Mix thoroughly to ensure any settled pigment is re-
dispersed. DO NOT THIN this product. Product is ready to
use. Do not thin with gasoline, lacquer thinner, turpentine
or other solvents. Apply a light first coat. A minimum of 4
coats is recommended for optimal removal and
performance. If tape is applied to mask areas, be sure to
remove the tape while the coating is still wet. Do not use
near open flame.
Brush: Use only on small areas. Be sure to use light even
strokes. Excessive brushing reduces film thickness and
protection.
Spray Gun: Can be applied using an electric turbine
sprayer or HVLP spray gun. Follow spray gun directions
carefully. Always keep the gun 10-12 inches from the
surface and in motion while spraying.

relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures.

before washing.
