Cleaning
1. If the angle section cannot be accessed from another
functional section in the unit, proceed as follows:
Dismantle the wall element in the end wall of the
angle section.
2. Because the sound baffle elements are permanently
mounted, use a suitable tool that is long enough to
reach all the way in between the baffle elements inside
the air handling unit.
3. Clean the baffle elements.
4. Refit the wall element.
Select the cleaning method that is appropriate for the
type of baffle elements installed. The choice lies between
the following methods:
1. Vacuum cleaning or dry wiping with a duster on an
extension pole (G-fabric + Cleantec).
2. Cleaning with a sponge and detergent (Cleantec).
CAUTION!
Remove any remaining dirt and water in a suitable man-
ner after cleaning and before starting the unit.
Take care with water to ensure that it does not penetrate
the joint between the panel and the frame (not applicable
to EUWA).
For washing baffles with a Cleantec surface
layer
Ordinary detergents with grease solvent and disinfecting
properties may be used.
