*NOTE: In Canada replace each occurrence of 277 with 347 and 480 with 600.
Temperature Caution: Cable pulling and Tap installation should not be
attempted in temperatures below 32°F / 0°C.
Two installers are recommended!
— one to see that Cable is kept flat in
615CLWA Pull-In Guide and one to pull at far end of run.
For short runs: A length of Cable may be cut from reel and loosely recoiled
to prevent twisting during pull-in.
For longer runs: Cable may be unreeled as it is pulled in.
Tools Required:
Utility knife
Hand-held hacksaw or hacksaw blade
Wiremold PVC Cutter or commercially available anvil blade cutter
NOTE: Tabletop or flat cutting surface recommended for easiest cable preparation.

Coupling.
2b Attach CLWEC
Endcap/Puller to Cable.
2d Attach
615CLWA Pull-In
Guide to Strut.
Prepare end of Cable as described in Step 2a. Attach prepared end of Cable to Endcap/Puller per
Step 2b. Pull Cable into Strut the remainder of the way insuring that both Endcap/Pullers are inside
of the Strut. Remove Pull-In rope from Endcap/Puller.
2f Continue pulling Cable into Strut.
IMPORTANT: Engagement of Endcap/Puller and Cable in Strut should be monitored during pull-in. Cable must be kept flat and pre-
vented from twisting between coil or reel and Pull-In Guide. Two installers are recommended.
Pull Cable until the Endcap/Puller is approximately one foot from exiting the end of the Strut run. Remove Pull-In Guide from end of
Strut and cut Cable leaving approx. one foot extending from Strut end.
1e Connect continuing

slope of CLWEC base.
2. Make sure that insulation barri-
ers are positioned in cable slits
between each conductor.

2a Prepare cable for
Endcap/Puller.
1. Using the Wiremold PVC Cutter or an
anvil blade cutter, prepare end of cable
with clean, perpendicular cut.
2. Using utility knife, cut
away side flanges 8-12".
(This allows cable to fit
inside CLWEC.)
3. Using hacksaw blade, slit

Pull-In Rope to
Endcap/Puller.
NOTE: 1/4" diameter Polypro
Rope with 1200 lb. tensile
strength and 210 lb. working
load is recommended.
2. Closed loop knot.
1. Thread pull-in rope through
hole in the direction as shown.
