About This Variety: This tree grows perfectly uniform, in a symmetrical oval shape all on its own making it an
excellent choice for front yards. So perfect, that it appears a miracle of nature. In the spring it will bear white flowers
with leaves which turn red in the fall. Best of all it’s a real improvement over Bradford Pears and Aristocrat Pears as
they are so much stronger, resisting damage from ice storm and wind.
Growing Instructions: Plant where it will receive at least six hours of direct, unfiltered sunlight daily. Before
planting protect the tree from freezing, overheating, drying out or injury. If the roots have dried, soak them in water
about 24 -48 hours before planting. Dig a hole twice the diameter of the root system and two feet deep. Replace
some of the loose soil so that the roots can easily penetrate the soil. Spread the roots on top of the soil, planting it at
soil level. Firm soil and water well. Do not fertilize at planting time.
Care Tip: If you always wanted a flowering pear in your garden this variety is by far the best choice.
Exposure: Full sun
Height: Grows 30-40’ tall
Spacing: Plant 15-20’ apart, ground level
Hardy in: USDA zones 5-8
