Design House 578468 is a 4-light linear pendant light fixture. It is designed to be installed on a junction box in a ceiling. The fixture comes with a cross bar, mounting screws, mounting nuts, chain, stems, canopy, glass shades, plastic washers, socket rings, and lamp holders. The fixture can be assembled using a mix of the two (2) 12" stems and two (2) 6" stems for the desired height. The fixture can be used with bulbs that have a maximum wattage of 60W. The fixture is easy to install and can be used in a variety of settings, including kitchens, dining rooms, and living rooms.

WARNING: Risk of Fire. Min 75ºC supply conductors. Consult a qualified electrician to ensure

correct installation.

Turn off the main power at the circuit breaker before installing the fixture, n order to prevent possible

shock.

standards. If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a

qualified electrician

Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure that no parts are missing by

referencing the illustrations on the installation instructions.

Turn off the power at fuse or circuit breaker.

Turn on the power at fuse or circuit breaker.

IF IN DOUBT ABOUT ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION,

CONSULT A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.

Gently take all parts out of the package, lay them on a smooth surface, unscrew the MOUNTING NUTS

and the FIXTURE SCREWS. Attach the CROSS BAR to the JUNCTION BOX using (2) MOUNTING

SCREWS.

Use a mix of the two (2)12" STEMS and two (2)6" STEMS for the desired height. Pull the fixture wire

through each STEM. Screw the STEM pieces together and to the FIXTURE.

4. Make wire connections with WIRE NUTS:

A - Connect the black Fixture wire to the black supply wire.

B - Connect the white Fixture wire to the white supply wire.

C - Attach the fixture ground wire to the CROSS BAR with the GREEN GROUND SCREW

. Then

connect it to the supply ground wire with a WIRE NUT. Carefully tuck wires back into the JUNCTION

BOX.

7. Install BULBS(not included). See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum

allowed

wattage.

Screw the CHAIN to the STEM pieces. Weave the excess fixture wire through the CHAIN, the

CHAIN LOOP and the CANOPY.

Attach the CANOPY to the CROSS BAR through screw holes, and secure it with MOUNTING NUTS.

Attach the GLASS SHADES to the LAMP HOLDERS and secure it with PLASTIC WASHERS and

SOCKET RINGS.
