1 Description:
1.1 CamConnect Pro with multiple Yamaha ceiling microphones
(Just use the floor plan as an example, Room size 12M x 8M)
1.2 A. RM-CG A is detecting (within 4m x 4m)
1, 2, 3, 4 & 13, 14, 15, 16
1.3 B. RM-CG B is detecting (within 4m x 4m)
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
1.4 When 4, or 13 are speaking, both RM-CG A & B will
receive signals, and both will send the parameter to
CamConnect Pro to call preset
1.5 CamConnect Pro will be confused keep calling
presets cameras will keep switching from 4, and 13
2 Solution
2.1 Go to Yamaha webpage to set the range of exclusion area:
2.2 RM-CG A is responsible for detecting
1, 2, 3, & 14, 15, 16
2.2.1 Set the range of exclusion area as the gray for Ceiling Mic A
2.3 RM-CG B is responsible for detecting
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
2.4 Press “Submit” to save current exclusion area setting.(Page 16)
2.5 Reconnect Yamaha RM-CG on CamConnect Pro to update the parameter.
3 Analysis & improvement
3.1 Yamaha exclusion area is existed on default setting. After setting up exclusion
area, the sound emitted within those area is still being received.
3.2 In FW 1.4.5, the design of CamConnect Pro allows it to receive sound from the
entire area, and it caused that when sound occurs between two microphones
and triggers the operation of both simultaneously, this will result in continuous
