Holder set installation:
Fix two hangers to the wall with attached screws and
dowels. Make sure, that the attached dowels are suitable
for the type of wall; if necessary, replace the dowels with
suitable types in the same size. Aware of the selection of
the place, at least on the right side approximately 50 cm
space for disassembly of the heat exchanger must remain.
Upper planes of hangers should be horizontal and at the
same level.
Wall mounting:
Place the system in the center and hang it with the angled
part of the base plate. After that secure the system with the
enclosed metric screws and press against the wall.
Check if the system is securely xed and cannot be moved.
Insulation removal:
First remove pumps insulations (IP) by pulling them out
from the sockets. These parts are exible and can be
removed easier by pressing them.

Now you can remove other two insulation parts
(I2 and I3) by pulling them in the direction down or up
shown on drawing 5.

Heat exchanger disassembly and replacement:
Before you start any activities perform actions shown on
gures 3 to 5 (Insulation removal) and secure, that all shut
o valves are closed and substations
is drained and cooled down.
Attention: Risk of burns!
To remove the heat exchanger, you need to remove rst
the 4 nuts /couplings and then the external Seeger-Ring
with special Pliers (this tool is not provided with the
substation) like visible in drawing 6.
Loosen now the pipes/ttings from the Heat exchanger
connections with a suitable tool (wrench etc.); using of pipe
pliers should be avoided, because the
nuts can be destroyed.
After loosening the 4 couplings, the Heat exchanger (HEL)
can be moved to the side (to the right)
as shown in picture 7.
The re-assembly takes place after cleaning the device or
exchange in reverse order. We recommend replacing the 4
gaskets G1 “ at the connections.
Pay attention to suitable seal types, especially materials at
the drinking water connection need to
be comply with applicable regulations and norms
(e.g. KTW / W270 / Elastomer Guideline).
Recommended types of seals:
Heating side: KLINGER®top-sil-ML1, Multilayer 30 × 23mm
(torque 30 .. 40 Nm)
Domestic water side: EPDM A-KT 90-00, 30 × 23mm
(torque 25 .. 30 Nm)
