Remove excess clutter from floors before cleaning. Use your robot frequently to maintain
well-conditioned floors.
● Your robot will automatically explore and clean your home. It will return to the Home Base™ at
the end of a cleaning job and whenever it needs to recharge.
● To send the robot back to its Home Base™, tap . A blue light ring pattern will indicate that the
robot is seeking the Home Base™.
● When your robot detects an especially dirty area, it will go into Dirt Detect™ mode, moving over
the area multiple times until it senses that the area has been sufficiently cleaned. The light ring
indicator will flash blue.

● How does the automatic dirt disposal feature work?
The automatic dirt disposal feature is exclusive to the Roomba i4 model. It comes with a Clean
Base Automatic Dirt Disposal that serves as a docking station for the robot. After each cleaning
session, the Roomba i4 will return to the base and automatically empty its bin into a disposable
bag inside the Clean Base. This allows for up to 60 days of hands-free cleaning without needing
to manually empty the bin.
●Can the Roomba i3 and i4 be controlled using a mobile app?
Yes, both the Roomba i3 and i4 can be controlled using the iRobot Home app. The app is
available for iOS and Android devices and allows you to start, pause, or schedule cleaning
sessions, view cleaning history, and receive notifications and updates about your robot vacuum.

The battery life of the Roomba i3 and i4 can vary depending on the cleaning settings and the
size of the area being cleaned. On average, the battery can last for about 90 minutes before the
robot needs to return to its dock for recharging. If the battery runs low during a cleaning
session, the robot will automatically return to the dock and then resume cleaning once it's fully
charged.
