Thank you for purchasing this Hampton Bay interior flush mount. This product has been
manufactured with the highest standards of safety and quality.

2. Two light semi-flush light with oil rubbed bronze finish and white fabric hardback shade with decorative metal design.
3. For energy savings this fixture has been engineered to safely use a Self-Ballasted Compact Fluorescent Bulb in place of an
incandescent bulb.
Warranty
The manufacturer warrants this fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of
purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product
is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the
manufacture’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alteration,
neglect or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any
way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of
an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, or faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship.
This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is consider normal wear
and tear.
The manufacturer does not warrant and specifically disclaims any warranty, whether expressed or implied, of fitness for a particular
purpose, other than the warranty contained herein. The manufacturer specifically disclaims any liability and shall not be liable for any

PLANNING FOR SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION
Read all instructions before installing.
To avoid damaging this product, place it on a soft, non-abrasive
surface such as carpet or cardboard.
IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any
cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have
occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the
wire, do not continue the assembly process. Please call
the Customer Service Team at 1-877-527-0313.

Preparation for mounting
Tighten the support screws (B) full turns into the inside
mounting hole of mounting strip (A) (to be fully tightened
later), secure by G5/32” hex nut (F).
NOTE: The support screws (B) should extend
long enough to protrude through the canopy (H)
when it is mounted. (Adjust as needed)
Fasten the mounting strip (A) onto outlet box using two
outlet box screws (D).

Strip 3/4” of insulation from the wire ends. Twist the
stripped ends together with pliers. The black wire from the
xture to black wire from outlet box, white wire from the
xture to white wire from outlet box. The bare copper
grounding wire from the xture must loop one turn under
the head of green ground screw (C) on the mounting strip
(A) before it is connected to the grounding conductor of the
supply circuit.
Cover the wire with wire connectors (G). Tape the wire
connector (G) and wire together. Carefully position all
wirings inside outlet box.

Installing the threaded pipe
Place the canopy assembly (H) over the outlet box, let the
heads of support screws (B) come through the holes of the
canopy assembly (H), then tighten the cap nuts (E) to the
protruding support screws (H) on mounting strip (A) until
the
ure body is held rmly against the ceiling.
Thread the threaded pipe (I) into the bushing near the
sockets located on the canopy assembly (H).

Install the light bulbs (not included) into the socket. Use
two 60-watt medium base bulbs or less.
NOTE: You can also use two 13w maximum UL listed
CFL bulbs (sold separately). Do not exceed the
recommended wattage.
Slide the glass plate (J), plastic washer (K), metal washer
(L) over the threaded pipe (I) and secure by G3/8”hex nut
(M) as show in diagram (Do not tighten excessively). Then
place the cap (N) over the threaded pipe (I) and secure by
the

Care and Cleaning
To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface
of the fixture.
To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the
fuse box. Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.
Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Cause Solution
The bulb is burned out. Replace the light bulb.
The power is off. Ensure the power supply is turned on.
Faulty switch. Test or replace switch.
Lights will not turn on
Faulty wire connection. Check wiring.
Fuse blows or circuit breaker trips
when light is turned on.
Crossed wires or power wire is
grounding out.
Discontinue use of the lamp.
Check wire connections.
