1. Networking Description
1. Sending a verification alarm: Log in to DeviceManager
and choose Monitor > Alarms and Events >Send
Simulated Alarm.
2. Receiving alarms: Log in to the Secure Cloud Gateway.
Choose Log Recording > Run Log. If the description
Alarm sent successfully is displayed for the Alarm
Reporting module, the alarm is uploaded successfully.
3. Confirming the device connection success: Log in to the
DME IQ cloud system and check the simulated alarms on
the home page.
1. Windows host: a physical machine or VM that can access
the Internet.
2. Secure Cloud Gateway software: How to Obtain
3. Account of Huawei Support or Support-E website: used to
authenticate the Secure Cloud Gateway.
4. Email address or phone number of the customer contact:
used for receiving fault notification.
5. Management account of the server: used by the Secure
Cloud Gateway to identify servers.
6. SNMP account of the server: used to poll and report device
alarms.
7. Firewall ports to be enabled: at the Secure Cloud Gateway
side (TCP: 443; UDP: 10162); at the server side (TCP: 22,
443; UDP: 161, 623)

1. Use the Uniportal account configured during
software installation to log in to the DME IQ system
at https://ops-dmeiq.huawei.com/.
2. View basic information about connected devices.
Authentication
1. Double-click eService.exe to install the Secure Cloud Gateway.
2. Enter the site name, address, email address, and other information, and
perform online authorization (recommended) or paper authorization.
3. Set the Uniportal account of DME IQ.
4. Configure the Call Home function.
5. Add devices to be managed.
Online authorization: The TAC
authenticates a site in about one
week.
Paper authorization: Prepare the site
name (the site name configured on
the Secure Cloud Gateway) and
contact the TAC to authenticate the
site.
The domain names of the eService secure access
service are as follows:
Technical support center for enterprises in Chinese
mainland: ecloudservice-cn.huawei.com
Technical support center for carriers in Chinese
mainland: icloudservice-cn.huawei.com
Technical support center for enterprises outside
Chinese mainland:
Romania: itr-eservicero-ent.huawei.com
Technical support center for carriers outside
Chinese mainland:
Romania: itr-eservicero-carrier.huawei.com
Mexico: itr-eservicemx-carrier.huawei.com
You can run the cmd command to ping the domain
name to obtain the public network IP address.
