A restricted “do not duplicate” key means that as owner and holder of the blue
code token, you are the only one who can have extra keys made. The purpose of
restricted keys is to give you control over your keys.
The front door lock must be safe, secure and convenient, and with the restric-
ted key, we have made the lock even better.
The blue code token should be considered and treated as a valuable
document.
Registration of ownership certificate
You can register the ownership certificate for your ASSA d12 cylinder and
key online at ASSA’s website www.assa.se. You can use the ownership cer-
tificate to have extra keys and cylinders made at a licensed ASSA service station
even if you lose the blue code token.
To register your ownership certificate you will need the 7-digit code from the
blue code token and a 3-digit security code that is enclosed in the package.
The keys to the d12 high-security cylinder are legally protected against illegal
copying under Swedish law. Contact a licensed ASSA service station if you need
additional keys or cylinders. You can find your nearest licensed ASSA service
station at www.assa.se.
• If you want your key to fit all doors in the
house (storage room, garage, etc.), you can
order extra cylinders and use the same key for
all locks. Use the code token in the same way
as when you order keys.
• If you are sure you do not need any additional
keys or cylinders, you can cut up and destroy
the blue code token. You will then be certain
that no new keys can be made.
• Test the key in the cylinder before installing
the lock.
