To move the machine, always ensure it is in a closed position and support the
bottom of the unit. Do not lift by the upper arm of the unit.
IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE
NOTE: The blender, food/meat grinder and mixer functions all work from one motor. Therefore all three functions will operate together when
the machine is used e.g. the mixer blade will go round while you are using the blender etc. It is very important that you never use the
functions together to process food as this will cause strain and damage to the motor. Only use one function at a time.
Before operating the food mixer, please read these instructions completely

2. Put the blade unit (5) with sealing ring into the base (6).
3. To fit the lid, simply push into place, aligning the cover with the spout for a
secure fit, and allowing no gaps.
4. Ensure the measuring cup (1) is also fitted – align the tabs and turn clockwise
until secure.
5. Mount the blender jug (3) onto the top of the food mixer (top housing part 10
on parts diagram). Ensure it is fully pressed in.
6. When the blender function is no longer required, always replace the blender
cover (part 21 on parts diagram). The other food mixer functions will not work
without this cover.

To Assemble:
• Turn the locking wheel (3) on the main body of the mixer anti clockwise as far
as it will go.
• Insert the mincing tube (2) and then tighten the locking wheel clockwise to
secure in place.
• Place the feed screw (4M) into the mincing tube, long end first and turn until it
is fixed in place.
• Place the mincing blade (3M) onto the feed screw shaft with the blade facing
away from the machine (smooth side first). Take care as the blade is sharp.
• Place the desired grinding disc or attachment next to the cutting blade, fitting
the side protrusions in the slots.
• Then turn the locking ring clockwise until tight. Do not over tighten.
• Place the hopper plate on the mincing tube as shown.

supply.
HOW TO USE THE FOOD MIXER
Operation Guide (see parts diagram for numbers in brackets)
1. Ensure that either the blender jug or the blender
cover is fitted. The food mixer will not work without
either of these fitted as there are small power tabs
located here that are depressed when the jug or
blender cover is fitted completing the circuit. Take
care not to damage these tabs at any time (see photo,
left).
2. Press the locking switch (5) downwards, then lift the machine arm.
3. Place the mixing bowl (4) onto the base, and turn to lock it as the arrowhead
(21) denotes (anti clockwise).
4. Fix the clear plastic bowl cover into place, aligning the tabs and then twist anti
clockwise to lock. There are arrows on the cover to guide you. Do not force the
cover as it may cause damage to the cover. Ensure the filling hole for adding
ingredients is facing towards you. The covers may be stiff to begin with. As
with any new product, these will loosen after the first few times they are used.
5. Fix the splash cover (13) onto the blade of your choice.
6. Then lock the blade into the machine tightening the knurled nut (23)
clockwise.
7. Press the locking switch downwards, then push the machine arm down and
ensure it is securely closed.
8. Plug into the mains power socket. Press the I/R switch to I and select the
required speed by turning the speed dial (15).
P For crushing ice or for blending with a pulse effect. Turn the speed dial (15)
to P and hold and release. This allows the motor to turn on and off in bursts.
1-2 For very light blending, liquids only
3-4 Use for liquids
5-6 Liquids and solids
8. Do not operate for more than 4 minutes at a time.
9. If you need to stir the contents or add more ingredients, always turn the I/R
switch to O first.
10. The measuring cup can be removed so that more ingredients can be added
without taking off the lid but ensure it is replaced before starting the motor
again.
11. To remove the blender jug, simply lift off, DO NOT twist as this will cause
damage to the small power tabs.
12. Replace the blender cover (21).
13. Remember that the blade inside the jug is very sharp – at no time insert your
fingers into the jug, even when cleaning.
Mincing
• Cut all foods into pieces (sinewless, boneless and meat without fat is
recommended, approximate size :2cm x2cm x6cm) that fit easily into the
hopper opening.
• Plug in and turn the I/R switch to I position. Turn the speed dial (15)
to speed 6.
• Feed foods into the hopper plate. Use only the food pusher (7M) to push foods
into the opening. Never push food in using your fingers.
• After use switch the unit off and unplug it from the power supply.
Reverse Function
• If the unit jams, press the I/R switch to O. Allow the motor to stop. Then press
the I/R switch to R. The feed screw will then rotate in the opposite direction
and hopefully free the jam.
• If this doesn't work, switch the unit off, unplug from the mains socket, take it
apart and clean it thoroughly.
Making Sausages
• First prepare/mince your filling.
• Insert the sausage disk (16) on to the feed screw, then the sausage tube (6M),
then the fixing ring (1M). Do not use the mixing blade or grinding disk.
• Hold an empty sausage skin over the end of the tube and feed the filling into
the hopper plate.
Making Noodles
• Insert a plastic noodle disk (18) on to the feed screw, then the fixing ring.
Do not use the mixing blade or grinding disk.
• Feed the noodle mixture into the hopper plate.
Note – never force the machine to open or close – always use the locking
switch (5).
- Never turn the speed dial (15) quickly back to O, always turn slowly through the
speeds. If you need to stop quickly, press the I/R button to O.
- The R on the I/R switch will cause the mixer to operate in reverse. This function
is for use with the food/meat grinder but can also be used for the food mixer to
loosen mixture from the blade. However, it should not be used for more than a
few seconds at a time as it may cause damage to the motor.
Maximum running time: 10min. After 10 minutes continuous use, all the Food
Mixer to cool for 10 minutes before re-commencing use.
TO USE THE DOUGH HOOK (9):
1. Never use speed 4,5,6 high speeds to knead dough when you use the
dough hook.
2. Start slowly on speed 1 and gradually build to speed 2 or 3.
3. When filling the mixing bowl, ensure that you do not overfill. Allow space to
mix. If necessary do in smaller batches.
4. The maximum quantity of flour should be no more than 1500g .
TO USE THE WHISK (11) :
1. Use to whisk egg whites or cream.
2. Turn the speed dial to the required speed – any of the speeds are suitable.
Egg whites for example are best whisked at speeds 4 to 6 for up to 4 minutes,
according to the size of the eggs, until stiff.
3. When filling the mixing bowl, ensure that you do not overfill. Allow space to
mix. If necessary do in smaller batches.
4. Maximum quantity 18 eggs.
TO USE THE MIXING BLADE (14):
1. Use to mix any recipe or ingredients such as cakes, batter, sauces etc.
2. Turn the speed dial to the required speed – any of the speeds are suitable.
3. When filling the mixing bowl, ensure that you do not overfill. Allow space to
mix. If necessary do in smaller batches.
Note: The maximum operating time is 10 minutes for any of the
blades selected.
Note: The mixing bowl capacity is 5.1 litres but that measurement is
right to the top of the rim of the bowl. The quantity of food to mix
must be less than this to allow plenty of room for the blades to work.
TO USE THE BLENDER FUNCTION
1. Remove the blender cover (21) from the top housing (10).
2. Add ingredients to the jug according to the recipe.
3. The jug capacity is 1.5L maximum.
4. Place the lid on the blender jug and ensure the spout is fully covered, and the
measuring cup is fitted.
5. Place the blender jug in position on top of the food mixer, ensuring it is fully
pushed down.
6. Press the I/R switch (7) to the I position.
7. Select the desired speed from below.
CLEANING
1. Before cleaning, please ensure that the I/R switch is at the
“0” position and that the plug has been disconnected
from the socket.
2. After use, allow the mixer to cool down before you start
to clean it.
3. To clean the exterior of the unit, use a moist cloth and a
mild detergent.
4. Do not use any abrasive detergents or alcohol.
5. Never submerge the mixer body in water.
6. Hand washing is recommended for all the removable parts
and accessories. However, the dishwasher safe parts are;
mixing bowl, egg whisk, blender jug. Plastic parts for the
food/meat grinder can be washed top rack only. Do not
put any parts not listed above in the dishwasher – they
are not dishwasher safe and should only be washed by
hand and then dried.

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTION
None of the functions are working. 1. Check the plug is connected to the mains and the mains power is switched on.
2. Check that the blender jug or blender cover is fitted correctly.
As a safety feature incorrect fitting of this part will prevent the unit from functioning.
3. If both the above suggestions have not solved the problem, contact our Customer Services department.
One of the functions work
correctly but the other two do not.
This would indicate that one of the internal belts have slipped. Contact our Customer Service department.
Difficulty fitting the clear plastic
cover.
The plastic cover is a tight fit to avoid any splashing or spillage under the vibration when the mixer is working.
Follow step 4 in the ‘How to use the Food Mixer’ section carefully. Note that after a short period of time the factory
newness of the unit will wear off making the process easier to use.
