zClean the battery and device contacts
prior to insertion, if required.
zImmediately remove depleted batteries
from the device. This increases the risk of
battery leakage.
zDo not expose batteries to any extreme
conditions, e.g. on radiators, direct sun-
light! This increases the risk of battery
leakage.
zFailure to comply with the instructions
above could result in batteries being dis-
charged beyond their final charge voltage
and leaking. Remove batteries immedi-
ately, in order to avoid damage.
zAvoid contact with the skin, eyes and mu-
cous membranes. Immediately rinse ar-
eas affected by the battery acid with plenty
of clear water and immediately contact a
doctor.
zRemove the batteries from the device in
the case of longer periods of disuse.
Battery disposal
Batteries and rechargeable batteries are not
permitted to be disposed of with household
waste!
Every consumer is legally obligated to
submit batteries and rechargeable batteries
to the collection centre of their local council
or to retailers. All batteries and rechargeable
batteries can thereby be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
containing harmful substances are
identified with this symbol and with
chemical symbols (Cd for cadmium,
Hg for mercury, Pb for lead).
