TheYcamSetuputilitycaneasilyandquicklydetectcamerasconnectedtoyourlocalnetworkandlistthemonthe
CameraSetupwindow;alsoyoucanusetheYcamSetuputilitytoassignanIPaddresstoea chcamera.
4.1 YcamSoftwareInstallationforPC
1. InserttheInstallationCDintoyourCDROMdriveandtheinstallationscreenshouldappearautomatically
(Seeimagebelow).Ifitdoesnot,click“Start”then“Run”.Inthetextfieldenter“D:\autorun.exe”(if“D:”is
theletterofyourCDROMDrive)

Inmostcases,thisisnotrequiredastherouterwillassignthecorrectsettingstothecamera.Itishoweverusefulifyou
wanttosetuptheTCP/IPsettingsofthecamerabeforeyouconnecttoit,ifDHCPisdisabledacrossyournetwork,orif
youhavesubnetnetworkproblems.
AssigninganIPaddresstotheCamerawithYcamSetuputility
1.LaunchCameraSetupprogramtodetectcamerasonthelocalnetwork.
2.Clickon“Setup”buttonandthefollowingsetupinte rfacewillpopup.
3. Enterauniquenameforthecamera,thelocation(optional)andleavethedefaultportnumberas80.“ObtainanIP
addressautomatically”and“ObtainDNSserveraddressautomatically”areselectedbydefault,ifyouareconfident
enoughtoenteryourownsettings,youcandosobyselecting“UsethefollowingIPaddress”andfollowthe
guidelinesonthenextpage.
4. ToobtaintheIPaddressesspecifictoyournetwork,click“Start”then“Run”and type“cmd”inthetextboxandclick
“Ok”.ThiswillbringuptheMSDOSprompt.Inthiswindowtype“ipconfig/all”andpressenter.Ascreensimilarto

Nowyouhaveyourcameraattachedandthesoftwareready,youarereadytofindyourcameraonyournetwork.
DoubleclicktheYcamicononyourDesktoptolaunchtheYcamSetupprogram.
TheYcamSetuputilityshouldautomaticallyfindyourcameraifitiscorrectlyconnected(Seeimagebelow).

Sometimestheprogrammaytakeafewminutestofindyourcamera,soifyourcameraisn’tdisplayed,waitafew
momentsandthenclick“Refresh”tosearchforcamerasagain. 
[Setup]‐SelecttherequiredcameraandclickSetuptoconfigurethenetworksettingsforthecamera.
[Open]‐SelecttherequiredcameraandclickOpentoaccessthecameraviaawebbrowser(sameasdoubleclick)
[Exit]‐ClickExittoexittheCameraSetupwindow.
AnytimeyoulosetheIPaddressofyourYcamcamera,youcanruntheSetupSoftwaretoeasilyfinditagain.
Onceyourcameraisdisp layed, eitherchose“Open”toopenthecamera,orashortcutistojustdoubleclickonthe
