Hello!

Thank you for selecting TSC printers. TSC Standalone Creator helps users easily customize a

visually understandable touch panel application. Secondly, users can load CSV file into the

program, letting user have instant printout by clicking the touch screen. This User’s Guide

shows the interface appearance and provides the essential information required for

manipulating.

 Double click to install the TSC Standalone Creator.

 Select Languages.

 Complete installation.

2. Overview

2.1 Overview Explaination

 Menu Bar :Contain Touch Panel Menu Creator and Label Template Creator.

-Touch Panel Menu Creator: Customize the display screen.

-Label Template Creator: Make Label Template.

 Tool Bar: Provide the elements for design.

 Function Bar: Povide the elenments for adding functions.

 Preview Area: Show the design connect to printer’s display.

 Status Bar: Show the location of the elements.

3. Touch Panel Creator

Touch Panel Creator contains Menu Bar, Tool Bar, Function Bar , Preview Area, nad Status Bar which could

help on establishing the customized display and connecting to the Label template.

3.1 Touch Panel Creator - Menu Bar

Load

Load Other TSC Standalone Creator’s file.

Save

Save the Current Design as the *TSC file.

Save as

Save the Current task to assigned location.

Download to printer

Apply the Setting to the printer

Reboot the printer and ignore the .BAS file

Reboot Printer and ignore the BAS file.

3.2 Touch Panel Creator – Tool Bar

In Tool Bar section, users are able to add elements to decorate the display.

All elements shown on the Preview Area could be dragged and double clicked to edit the setting.

Tool Bar Funtions

Blank Template

Select

according display size of the printer

Application Template

Apply the sample templates on the Preview Area

Undo

Reverse the order to previous action

Set image or color as the background.

Image

Insert the image to the panel.

 Click the icon then click on the Preview Area.

 Adjust the position and by setting the values or dragging the mouse.

Text

Insert Text to the display.

 Click the icon then click on the preview template.

 Adjust position by dragging the mouse.

 Right click or double click to edit the values.

Info

To Insert the printer information.

 Date/Time/Firmware/Model Name/Ethernet IP/WiFi IP/Serial Number

Shape

Insert shapes on the Display.

Lines Rectangle Ellipse Triangle Triangle Right

 Click the icon then apply the shape on Preview Area.

 Use mouse to drag and double click to edit.

Variable Init.

To manually edit the variables, including Strings, Number, and Formula.

Help recognize

different variables.

Set the content of the value

CSV Table

To edit or upload the .CSV file.

Insert the data manually

 Click icon and select Edit CSV File.

 Type data into blank bracket.

 Close the window.

 Seclect Primary Key Column then click OK.

Load the data by CSV. File

 Click icon and select Edit CSV File.

 Click File > Load.

 Close the window.

 Seclect Primary Key Column then click OK.

 Primary Key Column: Use selected items to query the data.

 Primary Key will become STR0$ as default

Current Panel

TSC Standalone Creator provides up to 10 Panel Templates for each display to design with.

 Select the template pages for designing.

 For Applying, users could use function—Switch Panel to land to different pages.

3.3 Touch Panel Creator – Funtion Bar

Function Bar provide the tools and commands inserting into the Preview Area by dragging icons.

Functions could be edited by right or double click the icon.

Note: All functions icons are changeable.

To switch to next page of panel template.

Exit

To Exit the customized interface.

Compound Event

To Arrange sets of functions in one button.
