− Do not use if the appliance, mains cable or plug is visibly
damaged or if the appliance has been dropped.
− If the plug, mains cable or appliance is damaged, immediately
remove the plug from the earthed mains outlet.
− If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualifi ed persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
− There are dangerous voltages inside the appliance. Never open
the housing or slide objects into the ventilation slots.
− To completely disconnect the appliance from the power supply,
the mains plug must be removed from the earthed mains
outlet.
− Appliances connected to the mains during a thunderstorm may
be damaged by power surges. For this reason, always unplug
the plug if there is a thunderstorm.
− To prevent risks, only have repairs to the appliance or mains
cable carried out by the Service Centre or by a qualifi ed
specialist workshop. Improper repair work may result in
signifi cant risks to the user.
− Do not place the appliance near to sinks and do not expose it to
water droplets or spray.
− If the appliance has been moved from a cold room to a warm
room, wait before connecting the mains plug to the power
supply. The resulting condensation may damage the appliance.
The appliance can be operated safely as soon as it has reached
room temperature.
− Do not use the appliance outdoors.
− Unplug the plug from the earthed mains outlet before cleaning
the appliance.
− Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
